So sorry to hear this @GoneWithTheWind4 - this likely won’t be the case for you but wanted to mention that this happened to me a few months ago (positive test followed quickly by my period). It wasn’t actually a period in the end and I was pregnant and it was ectopic. I didn’t realise as I didn’t test again after I started bleeding as I thought it was my period. Just mentioning in case you have any unusual symptoms - might be worth taking an extra test in a week or so just to check it isn’t positive. Sending all the best

@GoneWithTheWind4 ah I'm sorry, there were definitely two lines visible. TTC is a constant emotional battle. I wish I could just not test early, instead its easy to spend £30+ a month on pregnancy tests that only make me more stressed and uncertain. Good idea to have a treat planned - Oasis tix is a pretty good one!

@GoneWithTheWind4 I am so sorry. There were two lines for sure. You are absolutely right. Waiting for your period to test its the best thing to do but so so hard. I am thinking I am going mad, the 2WW is so difficult.

You weren’t going mad, there definitely were two lines! What type of test was it? I’ve seen some pretty bad evaporation lines but yours looked pink! Are you thinking it was chemical? Or dodgy tests?

Thanks for the message! I’m not going mad, there were 2 lines on the photo right?! Anyway, my period started just now… I will try and take this into next cycle: DO NOT TEST BEFORE PERIOD DUE! And also, try and get myself Oasis tickets and get the micro needling done on my face! Hey ho. Hope everyone is ok. It’s quite the rollercoaster during th TWW.

@Baby2pls I'm sorry about the negative. It does depend on the sensitivity though too. I had nothing until 11dpo so you're not necessarily out yet

@Fairiebee and @GoneWithTheWind4 so annoying isn't it? I'm not taking a digital yet, I think the varying levels of sensitivity are confusing. I have what I think is a faint line on a frer this morning (at 12dpo) but it's incredibly faint (my DH doesn't see it) so just hoping the lines don't all disappear again.

I'm a sucker for testing because it's available, but I do wish we could go back to the time where you had to wait till after AF was due!

Sending so much hope to everyone for some positive tests and sticky beans this month! 6dpo here and the wait feeling very long this month, need to make some more plans to distract myself over the next few days!

I tested FMU with a Sainsburys early detection (11dpo today). Negative. So gutted.

Hi, I had faint lines 10 dpo, got negative digi 11 dpo but the same day a few hours later I got positive digi at 11 dpo. My urine is more concentrated in the afternoon than the morning if I don’t drink anything in 4 hours, so maybe try again?

Morning! Well the CB early digital has given me two not pregnant results this morning. I defo had two lines yesterday morning so not sure what to make of it really. Very confusing.

@Jigglemonster of course I cave in and tested but on 10dpo morning I couldn't see a darker line so I think I am out for this month. Though your tests give me hope that went positive on 11dpo. I hope for a sticky bean this time 🤞 @ByKindOpalPoet so sorry about your experience.

Joining this thread now as sadly had a chemical two days after positive test this week. On to cycle 2 for TTC#2

@Fairiebee did you cave and test again? I'm in a similar position. Am 11dpo today and got 3 vvvvvfls after stark whites on 9/10dpo (attached but hard to see). Am cautiously optimistic though had similar last month and wasn't pregnant (though think it may have been a chemical). I'm keeping everything crossed but too nervous to try another brand of test. I don't feel any symptoms, I just have a horrible headcold.

No 😢 just hovering around the same sort of level. Just going to test again then hope that tomorrow brings us more luck.

@misslomi Are the lines darkening at all? Hope it comes very soon for you! Can all change in a matter of hours

@Fairiebee If it were me, I’d definitely be testing again in the morning BUT I’m sure the better advice is to wait 2 days!

My boobs have got a bit more tender (well more one than the other) throughout the day. I never normally get sore boobs. Felt a couple of nagging pains a bit like chest pain but near my armpit. I hate that I do this to myself. If it’s nothing I’ll be so upset

I am 9dpo pm and I see a vvvf line in a one step test (the cheap ones) and I do it again and I see again one very very light shadow. The thing is I don't know if is my idea or the tests. I thought I saw something again two days ago. I did many times today but only now in the afternoon I saw something. If it's indeed positive do you think it will show for sure in the morning?

Yeah mine were never dye stealers last time either, but they definitely got about twice as dark as this and at least showed a little bit of progression every day. I’ll give it another few days to progress, but I’m just not feeling hopeful when last time was a much nicer progression using the same tests.
