TTC September/October 26

Literally hate the TTC journey. I had a static smiley on clear blue on Saturday, dtd the previous Thursday and Saturday so I don’t really know why I tested today but I can see a line? I just think it would be too early wouldn’t it?

Hi everyone, joining with a possible vvfl at 8dpo.

I have a nearly 4yo son but this will be my partners first baby. We conceived in April just after my coil removal but unfortunately it ended in a missed miscarriage after a private 7 week scan found an empty sac so I’ve had 2 surgeries in a June and July to remove all the tissue and this is my first cycle since.
i stupidly tested yesterday at 7dpo not expecting anything and have been driving myself crazy wondering if the line is actually there or not. This is today’s test, anyone see it?

@GreenPickle that’s a very good point about this cycle behaving differently. How do you know if you don’t actually ovulate, would you keep testing LH during the TWW and see if you get another peak and restart the TWW countdown?

I have a GP appointment for the 30th to ask about metformin for my PMOS. However, I did ovulate this month, although late, and now I'm on 6/7dpo. We only DTD once as we were both shattered and weren't expecting a peak!

@Vimto1991 hopefully tomorrow for you! My LH surge is very quick so I have to test a fair few times to catch it and make sure!

not sure about other strips but I guess the numbers don’t mean anything until it’s a positive! Fingers crossed - keep me updated!

How is everyone getting on? Can see a few others are waiting to ovulate as well, I'm on CD21.

Having some signs, increased sex drive and some egg white discharge but the highest ovulation test I'm getting is 0.5.

Thanks yes it can do, but research suggests it doesn’t always catch the egg on the opposite side

8DPO and a negative this morning. Only tested as we are going to a wedding today and I might want a drink. Starting to get a PMS migraine so I’m not feeling overly positive for this cycle

My sister had her right tube removed a couple of weeks ago and was told that it doesn’t matter which side she ovulates from as it will still go down the left tube

Only on cycle 2. I have irregular periods and don’t always ovulate which is why they were testing me

Fingers crossed you get your peak soon! Cd 18 I ran out of premom strips but had one step. It looks like my LH is rising but not sure if the brand is more sensitive. I don’t have any ewcm which is normally my clear sign. We aren’t a dtd every two days sort of couple so just winging it to be honest. 😅

@Springcloud26 cd14 and no peak yet for me! Hoping tomorrow for both of us 🤞 but latest Monday otherwise I will lose my mind waiting 😂 your body might still be adjusting! I remember I had an early loss and my body tried to ovulate twice and I got a positive cd30 🙃 I thought I was pregnant because they were positive for a few days… a humbling experience 😂

CD10 for me today - I usually ovulate around CD16 or 17 so a bit more waiting for me but think we will start DTD in the next couple of days. Really hoping I ovulate from my right side this month (tube removed on my left) but I know it’s just luck really. Good luck to everyone 🍀

sounds like a few of you are getting around to peak time! CD7 so about 2 weeks to go for me although last month my cycle was 5 days shorter so hopefully the same happens this month

@GreenPickle @Vimto1991 CD 15 for me today, still testing low. My partner is also coming down with something, typical now I am raring to go! 😂

I hope we all get our peaks soon, I know what you mean about the waiting - I think I’ll just be happy to see my oestrogen starting to rise!

I’m on cd17, I didn’t ovulate last month until cd24. Previous month was cd15. Can you tell I have PCOS haha 😅

@Selyak oh my goodness really that many?! How long has it been already?

Thank you. Yeah I think so. I guess if after another 10 months of trying I’m not pregnant they might do something

@Springcloud26 the wait for a positive LH test feels never ending - at least the two week wait has a deadline 😂 you could potentially go straight from low to peak! I used the monitor with my first and it only ever had highs - never peak! Hopefully tomorrow you get a static smiley!

@Vimto1991 what cd are you today? My cycles have gotten shorter since my first (they were 32 so a peak on cd17 was my surge)! But because they were longer I felt like they lasted for ages 😂 in reality, it’s just a few more days longer than the average 28! Now they are between 28 - 32! I’m hoping for a 30 day cycle so I can get a peak on Sunday 🙃 we have been dtd everyday since cd6… I’m tired!

Another waiting for a surge here. Cd17 premom app says I’ll ovulate today. I’m getting cramps. No ecwm or lh surge. I haven’t dtd since Tuesday. Hoping we haven’t missed it or if we have Tuesday will be enough. 😅

I’m not sure as only tracked one cycle when I got high on CD11 and LH surge CD 22. So I’m already slower getting to the high than last time, but then there was a long time before I got LH surge, so ovulation could be around the same time, just with a shorter lead up? I’ll continue to do CB daily for now and cheap Lh strips in the evening!

It’s deffo there! Congrats❤️❤️I think a ‘pregnant’ will show up in a clearblue (one with the red light at that’s early detection!)
