What’s the name of the best person you know?

I really like hearing baby name suggestions based on real people. For example “what about the name, Arty? I grew up with an arty he was the nicest guy ever”

Share the name of someone you think is amazing and why. And / or do you know a few people with the same name and can make a statement like “I like the name Maya, never met a bad Maya.”

This is so arbitrary and unscientific, though. There have probably been/are some delightfully wonderful souls out there named Adolf, Benito or Genghis!

I've known some supremely lovely Karens as it happens.

Same for me. The most lovely person I’ve ever known is Karen. It’s so sad how people have turned the name into a slur. I always planned to name a daughter after my favourite Karen but couldn’t do it now.

Katie and Heather. People called Katie always seem to be good friends to have, and I want to be like a particular Heather when I grow up! Also, one of Heather's DILs, but she has such a rare name that she is the first thing to pop up (several times) if you type her name into Google.

Tom and Phillip are good people to know.
