What’s the name of the best person you know?

I really like hearing baby name suggestions based on real people. For example “what about the name, Arty? I grew up with an arty he was the nicest guy ever”

Share the name of someone you think is amazing and why. And / or do you know a few people with the same name and can make a statement like “I like the name Maya, never met a bad Maya.”

Lots of Emma's but one I know is a teacher and said that children she taught were retarded, while sitting next to a couple also in our friendship group who have a child with a genetic condition that affects development. Worst person I know.

Barbara. My cousins wife is called Barbara and she is the loveliest person ever buy it is unlikely i would called my child Barbara for the very reason that she is also probably the youngest Barbara I know. It seems to have been a very popular name for women around my Mum's age and seems very dated now. We haven't got to a point yet where it is making a comeback.
