Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
rainbowstardrops · Yesterday 14:17

I like Amelie and really like Autumn but the rest aren’t to my taste. We’re all different though and you probably wouldn’t choose my children’s names!

Forgottenmyphone · Yesterday 14:18

Amelie - beautiful, but a little overdone
Autumn - ok
Annabelle - ok
Arabella - not keen
Clara - classic, beautiful
Connie/ Constance - not keen on Constance but Connie is cute
Emilia - better than Amelia
Heidi - timeless
Juniper - not keen
Phoebe - meh. Had its day.
Pollyanna - OTT
Primrose/ Posie - Posie is cute. A little ditsy, but still nice.
Rosanna - timeless. I like it.
Sophia - pretty, and thankfully it’s not as popular as it used to be.
Zara - ok

strawberrykat · Yesterday 14:18

My top three are: Clara, Phoebe and Sophia

Calliopespa · Yesterday 14:23

A really lovely list op.

Not so keen on Autumn, which I think is a different vibe from the others.

Phoebe is a good classic, but I do see the word amoeba when I look at it, so it's my next least favourite. It also makes me think "feeble."

Juniper is sweet but maybe a bit of a name for a pony?

Most of the others I love. I probably love Annabel, Arabella, Constance and Sophia best of all. All classic, traditional, pretty for a child and elegant for a grown woman.

I also really like the Emilia spelling which has Shakespearean vibes.

Amelie - 7/10 - pretty, but so 2010
Autumn - 7/10 - nice, but I find it hard to say and not suitable for babies born in non-autumn
Annabelle -7/10 - nice, but there's spelling variation, I don't like Anna and Belle as nicknames
Arabella - 7/10 - nice, but Annabelle sounds better
Clara - 7/10 - nice, but don't like how English people pronounce it
Connie/ Constance - Constance 8/10, Connie 5/10, don't like Connie, but Constance is nice but long and kinda hard to say
Emilia - 7/10 - nice but Emily better
Heidi - 8/10 - nice, but feels overly German
Juniper - 8/10 - nice, nice nicknames
Phoebe - 9/10 - nice, lacks good nicknames
Pollyanna - 5/10 - nice, but overly long and jokey
Primrose/ Posie - Primrose 6/10, Posie 8/10, really like Posie, but not keen on Primrose
Rosanna - 10/10 - nice
Sophia - 9/10 - nice but overly popular
Zara - 6/10 - I think this name is harsh, but nothing necessary wrong with it

Amelie, Clara, Heidi, Phoebe, Rosanna, Sophia are my favourites.

Ladybird04 · Yesterday 14:32

I think it’s a great list but I don’t like Pollyanna isn’t that a bit of a joke name that means to be overly cheerful??
Also not keen on Juniper and Emilia makes me think of the skin condition milia but that’s just my personal taste.
If popularity bothers you ( I personally couldn’t care less about whether a name is popular or not but I know some people do) don’t pick Sophia. If you put together the spellings Sophia and Sofia I think that’s the most popular baby name in the UK right now according to the latest stats.

My personal favourites from your list are Phoebe , Clara , Heidi , Rosanna.

Asunciondelaflata · Yesterday 14:35

I like most of them.
However, I don't like Autumn because I don't like nouns as names. "This has been a bad Autumn" "What a miserable Autumn!"

Asunciondelaflata · Yesterday 14:35

Constance and Clara are very under used, you'd be ahead of the curve.

Sparklinggreen · Yesterday 14:36

Arabella and Emilia are my favourites:

Amelie - 7/10
Autumn - 0/10
Annabelle 6/10
Arabella 8/10
Clara 7/10
Connie/ Constance 2/10
Emilia 8/10
Heidi 6/10
Juniper 0/10
Phoebe 0/10
Pollyanna 0/10
Primrose/ Posie 0/10
Rosanna 5/10
Sophia 6/10
Zara 6/10

Have you considered names like

Serena
Isabella
Camilla
Charlotte
Lucienne

A lot of lovely names there @Theseareafewofmyfavouritethings ... hard to pick. Smile

Connie, Heidi, Rosie, Sophia, and Zara, would be my fave 5. 😘

aperolspritzbasicbitch · Yesterday 14:52

Clara, Connie and Primrose are my favourite, Primrose was on my list but I would have gone for Prim rather than Posie

gillyflower8 · Yesterday 14:54

I like Heidi and Primrose best.

ToadRage · Yesterday 15:10

Amelie - Cute but prefer Amelia
Autumn - Not a fan of seasons as names, only one I would consider is Summer.
Annabelle - Nice sound but prefer spelling Annabel
Arabella - Love this name
Clara - Don't like, too similar to Clare which I also don't like.
Connie/ Constance- old-fashioned in my opinion and not nice.
Emilia - As before, prefer Amelia, I think the A spelling looks nicer.
Heidi - I like this one.
Juniper - Seriously?
Phoebe - Very common.
Pollyanna - Don't, please don't
Primrose/ Posie- I like Primrose but not Posie.
Rosanna - Reminds of the old tv show, not in a good way.
Sophia - pretty but prefer Sophie.
Zara - No.

DramaAlpaca · Yesterday 15:59

Amelie - nice if you happen to have a French accent, but not otherwise
Autumn - not keen; I don't like 'season' names
Annabelle - too frilly, but Annabel is nice
Arabella - I've always had a soft spot for this one
Clara - like a lot
Connie/ Constance - I adore Constance
Emilia - a nicer version of Amelia
Heidi - goats and pigtails - I really dislike this one
Juniper - prefer Juno, but it's OK
Phoebe - nice
Pollyanna - heck no! But I like Polly
Primrose/ Posie - I don't like the 'Prim' bit. I see Posy as a diminutive for Josephine, but it would work for Primrose too
Rosanna - my favourite of all the 'rose' names
Sophia - lovely
Zara - also lovely

Firebird83 · Yesterday 17:24
