I think it's number 2 for February isn't it? I'm confused now. I panicked when I saw the last one was nearly full Grin

Had my lowest weight in 10 years on the gym scales last night so feeling very very pleased. That's 7.7lbs off in February though I did start it a little higher due to a holiday at the end of Jan. Pleased nonetheless

boop that's amazing lowest weight in ten years is fantastic!

I just wanted to say sorry for not being more supportive to individuals I read this on my phone and most big chunks at a time so by the time I get to the bottom of the page I can remember what I want to say but not everyone's name... Memory like a gold fish I really wish I could improve it! Shall try and do better!

I am well and truly off the wagon I can't even bloody see it. So frustrating cause I'm assuming I will be in for another gain on Friday. I just can't seem to focus.

Archduke · 22/02/2017 07:19

Greetings dear slenders.

Good day so far, dog walk, good food - am doing beef, potatoes dauphinoise, & coleslaw for din dins, I'll just have the meat and veg. Got a new work contract today, a marketing gig for a charity, 1 month to get a big event sold out. Will be busy. Childcare, as always, a fecking nightmare.

Well done on the trousers nsv BOOP. V V good.

Naughtysausage · 22/02/2017 07:34

BOOP that's bloody fantastic!

And koko that sounds like an excellent plan. Check in after every meal and we'll applaud nicely and before you know it, it'll be a golden day. Smile

I am finding being back at work so much harder than the last two weeks at home. I just get so bored! Whilst I was at home I didn't snack at all, but at my desk I need something extra. It's not a disaster and I'm only having 'healthy' snacks. But the scales have stayed the same for about a week now and I'm getting fidgety...

lastqueenofscotland · 22/02/2017 07:37

Boop that's incredible!
Had a really golden day yesterday and will try to have another today. I won't be able to have lunch till late so that will be the test there.

I'm only 2 away from losing 7 Linda's in Feb and three from losing a stone overall! I totally thank this thread

Archduke · 22/02/2017 07:39

Oh yes, and vv good on the lowest weight in 10 years! I think we should all do a toast!

Squiffy small changes mate, anything that's heading in the right direction, perhaps try to be more mindful of what you are eating for a start. Not in a self-hating "Oh Christ I'm a total failure" type way, but in a, slowing down, conscious of what you're putting in your mouth and considering what it's doing for you positively or negatively. Just to try and stop the mindless eating that is so easy to fall into.

BitOutOfPractice · 22/02/2017 07:44

KOKO that sounds like a golden day. Come here when you feel like wavering

Archie new contract sounds great! Well done

Thanks for the new thread. Still getting advice from everyone. Won't be a huge loss (of any) as I've been too lax and too many social eateries. But onwards and downwards into spring!

Storm Doris tomorrow, keep safe all. We've already got gales.

HairsprayBabe · 22/02/2017 08:10

My February has been v v poor, every weekend I have ended up back on square one so I am not surprised I am only 1lb down for the month with 6 days to go!

11.9, although the scale did struggle to make up its mind between 11.8 and 11.9 so I suppose I am probably more like 11.8 3/4!

March will be better, I knew this month would be a tricky one to crack but I am happy I haven't gained overall.

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 22/02/2017 08:15

Morning all!

Love the shiny new thread, BOOP!

1.25 lb back on today, but I ate in an extremely lax way and finished up with pizza, garlic bread and cake, so I have only myself to blame! AF due any minute as well. Today will be a good plain 3 sensible mealer, and tomorrow is a fast day. Did Level 2 of the Shred last night and have an hour and a half of trampoline tonight, yay! I have packed Greek yoghurt with blueberries, chopped walnuts and pumpkin seeds to have for breakfast when I get to work - go me! The organisation!

ponygirlcurtis · 22/02/2017 08:29

Bloody brilliant BOOP! Star

Well done on the contract Arch. Busy can be good, as long as it's not stressy.

I am a little bit like you Quim and keepon and everyone else who is struggling to feel motivated. I have been doing OK, lost around 9lbs since the start of Jan - my Christmas pile-on plus an extra 5.5lbs. And I am (just!) in a new stone bracket, and only 3/4lbs from my initial target. I should be fired up. But all the oomph has gone out of me and I just want to eat. Going to need to try and reset things today, planning a big omelette for lunch with lots of veg. And maybe a bike session tonight, I think not being able to exercise is affecting my mood. Bah. February-head.

HairsprayBabe · 22/02/2017 09:07

P.S pony Glad my dress inspired you, I usually shop cheap as chips but I am attempting to stop buying so much and just buy quality items!

SpuriouserAndSpuriouser · 22/02/2017 09:18

Thanks for the new thread Boop, and well done on the lowest weight in 10 years! That's amazing!

KOKO that sounds like a really good plan

Arch well done on the new contract!

I'm having a fast day today, might do my weigh in tomorrow morning instead of Friday. Really hoping I managed to lose a bit more this week, I did so badly in January that it would be nice to see a decent loss in February!

ArseyTussle · 22/02/2017 09:25

I'm afraid I slipped off the wagon yesterday (my excuse is that it was a v v long work day with quite a bit of travelling so finished it off with pizza and biscuits).

However, today I shall attempt to be better. Woke up in a hotel so had my first breakfast in weeks, but won't eat now until dinner time, so hopefully won't be too much of a shambles.

Softpebbles · 22/02/2017 09:29

Hairspray I am back the same as Feb 1st due to impending period and social events. Hoping a good week will put me a few pounds down and in the zone for march.

Well done BOOP. X

Naughtysausage · 22/02/2017 11:24

Trampolining Cheddar?! Jealous!

QuimReaper · 22/02/2017 11:36

BOOP lowest weight in TEN YEARS, that must feel incredible! Bloody excellent work! Great work on the contract too Archie and a lovely golden-tastic day lined up there koko.

pony you've done amazingly, that's such a fab result! I think being very far from and very close to goal weight can be the hardest times to find motivation: when you're thinking "OK so I've lost 5lbs but I still have TWENTY to go" or whatever it can be very demoralising, and the last few Lindas can be so bloody stubborn, it starts to feel like flailing around and just not getting anywhere. When you say your "initial" target, how much more do you want to lose on top of that? I hit my initial target at the beginning of the year with about 5-7 more to go on top, then ducked down another Linda, then regained that, and have been maintaining ever since as far as I can see Confused

QuimReaper · 22/02/2017 11:37

Cheddar I did actually find a trampolining class near me after you mentioned it last time, but never ended up going - maybe I'll look into it again this week to see if it helps get things moving again!

BitOutOfPractice · 22/02/2017 13:31

Just back from the gym and another 0.4lbs off. I don't know how to be honest

I'm so tired though, not enough sleep. Going to try and stay dry till the end of the week. It definitely helps sleep

Didnt see the new thread.

Now I have AF I noticed the bathroom scales weighing a bit lighter.

I will wait until AF finishes before getting on the gym bodytrax machine and scaring myself.

Yaaaay BOOP - you are working hard at it, that's why. Tis much deserved.

Thanks for the encouragement Quim, very wise words. It's hard going when the end is in sight, isn't it! Another 3. 75lbs off will take me to 10st 10lbs. I would be very happy at that weight but it's still a stone above my top BMI. I don't know how achievable another whole stone off would be, the lightest I managed as an adult was 10st 5lbs for about two weeks (and that was with 5x exercise a week, before kids) so anything beyond 10st 10lbs is a bonus.

FreeNiki · 22/02/2017 15:18

The people I made friends with at the gym seem to have done it faster than me.

Lost loads of weight and in skinny jeans. Sad

ponygirlcurtis · 22/02/2017 15:42

Everyone is different Niki. Comparing yourself badly with others will just make you miserable, don't do it. Focus on what you achieved. You have lost some weight and become healthier and fitter, that's all great. You are being really hard on yourself.
