Arsey clients are, for the most part, rubbish in my experience.

Aww Archy that doesn't sound like you. Any ideas why you're feeling like this Flowers

I absolutely love "marching into phwoar".

How about "onward Slenderistas! Marching on to phwoar!"

OP posts:
ArseyTussle · 28/02/2017 10:46

Excellent. Although the pedant in me would like to point out that it's 'as to', not 'on to'.

And yes, clients are horrendous. There's part of my job (I'm self employed so I don't know why I just don't ditch these types of gig) that consists of people looking at me for answers, and I HATE IT. It makes me feel like I know nothing and that I'm crap at my job.

willhazboz · 28/02/2017 10:47

At 40+ ideas rejected I think maybe they are going to be nightmares!
My girl'sxa first day at playgroup today. I am performing a phone vigil just incase she isn't ok! Plus side...I'm so nervous I can't eat.
It's snowy so walking with the kids is out. Mainly try not to eat and definitely not drink this evening!!

ArseyTussle · 28/02/2017 10:56

Thanks will, I suspect you're right.

Can't go into too much detail, but basically it's a bit like someone has said, give us some ideas for a party venue along x lines. I've given them 43 ideas that I feel fit the brief, to get that response. I'll have to ask them what exactly they don't like about them, I suspect.

I have a different type of work that I do for the second part of year, and I can't wait for it to start. It's really full on and busy, but at least it doesn't make me doubt myself.

Archduke · 28/02/2017 11:04

Good new title, well done boop and arsey

BitOutOfPractice · 28/02/2017 11:29

I'll start the new thread later today

So i did my month end weigh in this morning

A not fabulous 12st 12 but I do reckon thats about 7 Lindas down since I started on this thread so I'm definitely a little pleased

March target of below 12st 7 is probably as much as I can aim for but that would be close to a stone in total

I'm definitely enjoying my occasional NSVs and those along with all you true slenderistas is what is keeping me going

FreeNiki · 28/02/2017 11:56

I dont know which scale to go with.

The bodytrax at the gym weighed me at 11st3 at my heaviest. I generally went there when I had eaten breakfast and had drinks etc and I was wearing sports clothing but barefoot.

My bathroom scale weighed me at my heaviest at 11st1lbs before Id eaten or drunk anything and whilst naked.

Now the bodytrax weighs me at 10st10lbs and the bathroom this morning at 10st7lbs.

Hmmm. What do I choose?

TVHubbyClaire · 28/02/2017 11:57

Oh also love the new thread title!!

BitOutOfPractice · 28/02/2017 12:04

Niki I'd chose the heavier one as your start weight and the lightest one as your current weight. Grin

OP posts:
ArseyTussle · 28/02/2017 12:15

I'd go with just one set of scales Niki, otherwise I'd be agonising over the details. I weigh at home, with the scales in EXACTLY the same spot.

teaping · 28/02/2017 12:41

Welcome back hairspray, glad you had a good time!

I'm -3 for Feb. Not what I wanted but I'm really focused again and WILL do better in march!!!

BitOutOfPractice · 28/02/2017 12:41

I weigh on the scales at home every day and twice a week on the Boditrax at the gym. Boditrax always weighs me lighter. When my home scales catch up with the gym scales I know it's time to weigh at the gym again if you see what I mean.

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 28/02/2017 12:41

The best one, Niki!

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 28/02/2017 12:43

10.11 exactly this morning, so that's -3.75 for the month. I have been terrible this month, though, so I'm quite pleased with that! Onwards and downwards, slenderistas!

QuimReaper · 28/02/2017 13:14

HELLO! HELLO!

Sorry for vanishing, I seem to be up to my chin in it at the moment! I keep popping in to catch up but not managing to actually post before getting sidelined!

I weighed on Friday and... I WAS STILL EXACTLY THE SAME FUCKING WEIGHT Angry I read the very good article someone (Squiffy?) posted upthread about plateaus and am trying to be caaaaaalm... But good GRIEF it's boring.

Still, my Pizza and Prosecco date for this evening has fallen through, so I'll be having white fish and tonic water instead.

My goal for March is to lose a single bloody Linda if it kills me Grin

BitOutOfPractice · 28/02/2017 13:21

Hello Quimmy!

Single Bloody Linda sounds like a grim faced middle aged woman. Just like me in fact Blush

OP posts:
FreeNiki · 28/02/2017 13:41

Boditrax always weighs me a bit heavier than the gym scale and so does the hospital scale.

But today I was another 1lb 0.5kg down on boditrax.

So that's a total loss since mid January of 4kg or 8.8lbs.

This month I have lost 1.9kg or 4.2lbs. I would happy with a similar loss next month.

Now I'm 67.7kg or 10st9lbs.

TVHubbyClaire · 28/02/2017 14:03

Hi quimmy I'm sure March will be a better month!! Enjoy your fish and feel good tomorrowSmile

So far today I have had about 200 calories plus a banana and I dont think dinner is on cards either as DS is in a concert which I have to get to straight from work.
About to indulge in 120cal bag of popcorn and then not sure what else for rest of day...this could be my most golden day everHalo

Squiffy01 · 28/02/2017 14:56

arch loved to see some australian language on the thread Grin

quim I'm jealous you have stayed the same. I'm not weighing in until Friday but expecting a gain.

Teeny tiny small goals for March me thinks!

Can't remember who asked by the top of the dress is sequins. Someone to my wedding last year had a blue dress on with orange shoes... Not sure I could pull that off. Shall look into cobolt. I have kitten heals so hard to find, ones that look nice and aren't expensive.

Millie04 · 28/02/2017 15:49

Does everyone find that calorie counting is the best way to achieve weight loss? I tried My Fitness Pal for a day and lost my will to live after trying to work out all the weights and cals of everything I ate. I've no doubt that it gets easier with time..

Chardonnay73 · 28/02/2017 16:12

Afternoon! My last stubborn Linda to get to my pre holiday goal is hanging on. And on. No loss since Friday and I had a golden weekend Angry
Am really starting to get bored now, just want to go on holiday, and eat all the food, I need a break from dieting. I'll then start again for the next 21 lb push before August hols.
How about 'We're Marching our way to 7lb lighter' for the next thread title?
Best I could come up with, am brain dead after work and lack of food!

BitOutOfPractice · 28/02/2017 20:04

I'm just off out (to the gym) so I thought I'd start the new thread now so we are ready for the morning

Here's a link to the new thread

OP posts:
Stellar67 · 28/02/2017 20:11

Quim have my marker for drawing the line. Let's go March. I have plans to not only lose Linda's, but March Melinda's. Because my Linda's love me too much to leave. Except one single bloody Linda.

Anyway I am trying to arrange people to farm the dcs out to for a couple of hours after school so I can do a course which will never be used in house.

Sorry I'm in weight strop today.

Stellar67 · 28/02/2017 20:12

Right strop, not weight strop, although it may be a weight strop...
