Bloody good job queenie and yes, please don't go! You are our first graduand, we can make a monument of you and wheel you out to be admired by the new joiners. We should install you in the lobby to attract new business Grin

Seriously though, if I ever reach goal weight I'm staying too if I'm welcome: I know that little things like relaxing and porking up on a holiday and not dealing with it, or getting lazy due to stress or illness or something and not managing to rediscover my resolve, are how I got in this mess in the first place, and this thread is a brilliant sort of touchstone for me. I've always, always been annoyed at myself for not addressing things when I started to notice them at about half a stone, and letting it slip and slip and slip, and I'm determined it isn't going to happen again!

lastqueenofscotland · 24/02/2017 08:54

Naughty I'm 2lbs off a stone! I didn't have loads to loose but I was getting a bit dumpy... If been trying for about 6/7 months I think my new found success is all thanks to this thread!

Naughtysausage · 24/02/2017 09:22

That's so impressive last! Nicely inspiring for a Friday morning Grin

Did you take before and after photos? And do you now need to buy ALL the new clothes?

lastqueenofscotland · 24/02/2017 09:35

Naughty I did am I'm so glad! I'm not sure if realise how much of a difference there is.

I think I'm going to need some new jeans but it's mainly that I fit in stuff I hadn't been for a while Blush

BitOutOfPractice · 24/02/2017 09:42

Your face will be on all our flyers lasty

Oh yes, please stay! I have so much to lose I worry about being abandoned once you lot are all out tottering round S&B in your hotpants and crop tops.

How are you feeling Squiffy? I'm betting it's a blip. How's the weight loss been going since you started? Were you a 1st Jan starter?

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 24/02/2017 11:57

Yay for Switzerland trip, Hairspray, and yes, please continue to...ahem...engage with us while you're away!

Arsey, I am giggling at the idea of myself in hot pants and crop top! No longer in this lifetime, methinks!

Yay for goal weight, Last! Well done you!

Fast day yesterday and am holding firm at 3lbs off for the month. I've got one more fast day before the end, though, so FX a couple more lbs sneak off. AF due any minute too, so that could easily be a factor. Not too dispirited given the many fuckit moments I've had this month!

Also, NSV: am down another belt hole and that's the last one on this belt! So two belt holes since 4 Jan. 'Tis awesome!

Millie04 · 24/02/2017 12:42

Have just been watching thread this week as been bit hectic and felt so stretched at points that I was almost translucent! DS in hospital all day on Tuesday testing for seizures, after 8 hours there were no conclusions. Ate a lot of jammy dodgers and two swift g & t's when I got home.
However I've stayed same weight at 9 st 10. Last you have reached my 9 stone goal nearly - how does it feel?? Well done.
Starting afresh next Monday and trying to be good ish for weekend. Happy Friday all 😊

BitOutOfPractice · 24/02/2017 13:13

Oh Millie I hope your DS is OK Thanks

I am off upstairs to pack. Off to Berlin tomorrow .

Hairspray let us all know how Geneva is. I am planning a birthday trip. So let me know if it would be ok for a sad singleton!

I did yoga class, body pump and some running on the treadmill so far today. Am determined to lose another 1lb before month end.

Millie04 · 24/02/2017 14:13

Thanks BOop.

Enjoy your trip away and forget the scales!

Naughtysausage · 24/02/2017 14:38

Oh Millie your poor ds (and you)! That sounds like a shit week.

DH just came home for lunch with a loaf of sourdough to make sandwiches, but I only had one slim slice as an open sandwich. Feeling very well behaved and virtuous. Might go have a carrot.

SpuriouserAndSpuriouser · 24/02/2017 14:48

Oh no Squiffy! To echo what the others say, please don't dispair, it's most likely bloating. You just have to ride it out and you will get there eventually!

Hairspray have a lovely holiday! And keep us posted on any major occurances

Millie that sounds awful, and so annoying that they weren't able to work out what was going on! Flowers for you.

lastqueenofscotland · 24/02/2017 15:14

FlowersBrew Millie

Stellar67 · 24/02/2017 20:01

Have a great holiday hairspray.

Well done queen, and don't go!

Don't dwell on it squiff

Hope DS is okay millie.

Enjoy Berlin BOOP. 🍺

Good naughty! Grin

I'm envious of all the city trips. I've driven around from meeting to meeting and out to pub earlier for dinner. I couldn't finish as it was just too much. Which is great news as I hate waste. I also had coffee. Although I am having a 🍷 now as my mind needs slight numbing.

Up tomorrow for hopefully some outdoor chores. My garden is a tip! And I've done my good shop via delivery this week so banned food will not enter the house.

I've also upped my working hours, so even more need for meal planning.

Archduke · 24/02/2017 20:40

Morning all.

Congratulations on the losses and NSVs. It's so good to read about all the successes.

Squiffy a 3lb increase is depressing for sure, but don't give up. Have a careful think about what you've eaten and portion sizes and then if that's all ok it's clearly a blip which will return to normal loss soon. Just KOKO with the rest of us.

Boop, Cheddar and Hairspray enjoy the mini-breaks.

Queen WELL DONE Star Star Star Star of course you must stay. Bodies are fuckers, one rogue week and it all goes to shit, so stay in the warm embrace of fellow slenderista's and we'll keep you at 9 stone. Grin

I am off to ParkRun shortly, just having a quiet half hour drinking tea whilst the rest of the household is asleep. My house is so lovely when there's no one else in it, or their all asleep.

My NSV for this week is that I noticed yesterday whilst wearing a dress that my previously fat knees are no longer as chubby as they were. Whilst I am mostly a ravishing beauty, my legs have always been a bit, er, sub-par. My knees always had a bulgy bit on the inside (lovely). Anyway, thanks to weight loss and my running my legs now look almost human rather than hippo-like. I am stalled again so not losing ANY WEIGHT AT ALL so it's nice to see a well-turned knee poking out from under my frock.

Had takeaway curry last night and 2 Champagnes. Was nice. Going out for a work reunion tonight so will probably drink too much but will try not to.

Archduke · 24/02/2017 20:45

Millie I've just looked back at the thread and noticed your post about your son. I'm so sorry, what an awful week for you, have some more Flowers and a Bear for your boy. xx

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 24/02/2017 22:01

So sorry to hear your son is ill, Millie.

Arch, my knees are like that too! Even when I was 17 and slim everywhere else, grr. They used to be my worst bit. Now I'm spoilt for choice as to worst bits.

Archduke · 25/02/2017 05:54

Another ParkRun PB!

30:01 - 2 seconds off cracking 30 mins AAARRRGGGHHHHH

ArseyTussle · 25/02/2017 08:29

Morning all. Just back from a 6.4km run (well, including 5 mins warm up walk at start and finish). It took 60 mins, I'm officially a tortoise!

How are things Millie?

willhazboz · 25/02/2017 08:32

Hope everyone who's away has a lovely time!
Hope your son is alright millie!
I weighed in yesterday and have lost 7 1/2 lbs since I started 2 weeks ago. I hope this means that my thyroid medication is starting to work properly!
NSV also my size 18 jeans are getting a bit loose!! Shame I only bought them 3 weeks ago.

ArseyTussle · 25/02/2017 09:21

Fabulous will, well done!!

I'm only expecting a few pounds off in the month but if I can get over the stone line since Jan 1st I'll be very pleased.
