That would be good arsey! I wish I'd started in January as I was lighter then! I have a hen do in march which is a spa day so as much as possible before then.

Millie04 · 25/02/2017 10:47

Thanks for all your messages, v kind.
DS is fine now, just watching him like a hawk in case there's anything I'm missing. EEG appt through for 20th March so not too long to wait.
Good luck with weekend weight loss endeavours! My aim is to not put any on this weekend but may have scuppered that already, and no exercise windows that I can see at the moment.

FreeNiki · 25/02/2017 12:33

Glad he is ok Millie.

Ive gone up 1lb again.

So feel totally unmotivated and stropped off out of my gym class as I couldn't keep up as I was pissed off.

Maybe I should go back in the late afternoon and try again.

willhazboz · 25/02/2017 12:39

Don't get pissed off niki! Fluctuations happen. I've put 1/2 a pound on today but it'll be back off soon enough and it's not a real gain!
I have made a classic mistake of making a salad massively unhealthy. We had coleslaw that need using. And houmous. And I was havjng falafel anyway. It's huge and amazing but probably incredibly calorific. I restrained myself though and didn't put avocado on. Blush

FreeNiki · 25/02/2017 12:41

I didnt sleep last night which is probably why i am grouchy. Still awake after 5am but got up properly at 10am.

I just cant be bothered today it is all so very boring. I am sick of the gym too today.

ponygirlcurtis · 25/02/2017 13:28

Glad your DS is doing OK Millie - what a worry for you.

Ah will that's both good and bad! But much more on the good side.

I am loving your dedication to running, Arch and Arsey, can't wait to get back to it in the summer when I will have exercise opportunities again.

Niki I am not surprised you feel sick of going to the gym. You need to be enjoying it and if you're not then take a day off. I think you are still being very hard on yourself and that's not going to be helping your motivation.

FreeNiki · 25/02/2017 13:53

I got made redundant late last year. If I dont go to the gym I have nothing better to do.

I think I am just sick of my whole situation.

ponygirlcurtis · 25/02/2017 14:24

Ah that sucks Niki, you do sound really fed up. Be kind to yourself today, do something nice away from the gym and give yourself a boost. Sounds like you need it. Flowers

FreeNiki · 25/02/2017 16:30

Thanks pony Flowers

I get lonely as I dont have anywhere to go or anyone to talk to all day. So I go to the gym because i know people there and interact with humans at least.

But I get quite bored of it all :(

ArseyTussle · 25/02/2017 16:38

Ah Niki, that's a tough situation. Flowers Do you have any family near you?

FreeNiki · 25/02/2017 17:30

Yes such as they are. They add to the stress. Come to talk about their own problems and I just get on with it.

ArseyTussle · 25/02/2017 19:11

That sounds a bit crap. Are you job hunting at the moment, or having a bit of time to gather yourself?

lastqueenofscotland · 25/02/2017 19:46

Niki go easy on yourself.

Managed an unlikely golden day on a weekend!

FreeNiki · 25/02/2017 21:21

Job hunting. It is all so boring.

ArseyTussle · 26/02/2017 08:13

Ugh, job applications are the most grim things. Is there much work in your field?

ArseyTussle · 26/02/2017 08:49

Nothing happening on the scales this morning. Am exactly 90kg, need to get to 89.35 to have lost a stone. Wonder if 651g is doable by Tuesday...

ponygirlcurtis · 26/02/2017 09:40

Morning - no shift here either but I am still clinging on to my lower stone bracket, only just! I reckon that's totally doable Arsey.

Good going last!

Hope you are feeling more upbeat today Niki, I can imagine it's hard not to get ground down by it.

willhazboz · 26/02/2017 09:42

You have my sympathies niki I'm job hunting aswell at the moment and it's tough! Totally different to 7 years ago when I started at my current company. Try not to let it get you too down!
Out today for lunch. Having salmon Wellington and veg (just at my parents..so will skip potatoes and my mum has got me a fruit salad.)

FreeNiki · 26/02/2017 11:13

There isnt much about now. I had loads of job interviews when it happened and now nothing. Ive slept in and blown off my gym class but not sure if that will make me more miserable.

Stellar67 · 26/02/2017 11:38

Niki you do sound down. Is there anyone you can meet up with for a coffee in RL? If not you can talk here. It's all round support.

Well done queen. And you can do it arsey!

It is pouring rain here and DH has gone for a week working away. We had an argument last night (over nothing) and we both feel bad.

I'm getting the sewing machine out and prepping some food for the week.

Stellar67 · 26/02/2017 11:39

Posted too soon, that sounds like
I'll be sewing my food!

Anyway I have lot a measly Linda this month, but I knew it wasn't the best. March will be golden!

FreeNiki · 26/02/2017 12:09

No not really anyone to talk to. All at work or with family at weekends.

I cant fathom how I went through life and ended up like this.

Arsey that is totally doable!

ArseyTussle · 26/02/2017 12:48

Are you looking for a relationship Niki? Would OLD perk you up a bit and be a distraction?

I've had several times in my life where I've thought, "holy fuck, how did I get here?", but eventually life moves on and good times come back round again. Hang in there, and say yes to anything that may offer something new or a change, even if it's a really small thing.

Being lonely is really shit, I've most definitely experienced that. Flowers

FreeNiki · 26/02/2017 14:25

Thank you all for your kindness. I am glad I found this thread Flowers

I have done OLD on and off and has largely been a disaster. Tinder guy from last year randomly looks me up every few months after a shag he told me to my face we aren't seeing each other and that he is looking for someone! I was lonely and a date was a date and he paid and it was a nice evening. He just cropped up on tinder again in the last few days with a new profile after deleting it. I guess he has been dumped again.

I am supposed to have a date next week but not up for it.

Just bought myself some new gapfit leggings in the 30% off deal. Medium fits nicely now so that was a bonus. It used to be very snug.

FreeNiki · 26/02/2017 14:29

Ooh and I fancy one of the PTs at my gym. Never fail to miss his circuits class Wink
