Me and my family were very satisfied and is a brand that we trust and also caters for all my family needs.

It was lovely and tasted buttery and even my dd who detests any butter in her sandwiches loved it.
Very easy to spread compared to some other brands we've tried.
We all loved the taste.

Yes I would especially now I no dd will have it in her sandwiches like the rest of us do.

I usually buy whatever brand is on offer, flipping between Flora and Clover. I really liked Flora Light though and would buy it again in future.

Yes I would. It tasted good, spread well, didn't taste any different with it being a "light" version, so on that basis I would recommend it.

Yes, it served its purpose and tasted nice in sandwiches and on toast. We also used it as a margarine substitute in baking biscuits and it gave the biscuits a pleasant taste.

I think the fact that it states the number of calories per serving is a useful feature, so yes I think it serves its purpose and is suitable for all the family.

Liked: the taste, the calories per serving and the fact you can spread it straight from the fridge.
Dislike: the fact that it contains palm oil. Also I felt that it is time to explore non-plastic packaging for butters and spreads.

I wouldn’t, I would choose a brand that doesn’t contain palm oil.

I wouldn’t, as it contains palm oil and I feel a well established brand such as Flora could be doing more to develop non-plastic forms of packaging, as there is no plastic recycling where I live. Come on Flora!

• Overall, how satisfied were you and your family with new Flora Light? My daughter and I quite liked it. I'd say it's better to bake with as it has a rather overpowering taste when used as a spread. My husband is an ardent butter fan and wouldn't use it as a spread.

• Is Flora a brand that caters to all your family’s needs? Due to my husband's dislike for any margarine, I'd have to say no.

• What did you like or dislike about new Flora Light? I liked that you could use straight from the fridge. It was very successful for pastry and cake making. It had a strong taste as a spread but I wouldn't let that put me off too much.

What did your family like or dislike? As above for baking, however as a spread in their opinion it will never replace butter.

Butter tastes so much better and it doesn't contain dreaded palm oil.

A company as large as Unilever should find better alternatives to palm oil. It's such a cop out to use the 'sustainable palm oil' label. No one I know feels comfortable using products using any form of palm oil. Unilever should be driving alternatives forward. This issue needs addressing as a matter of urgency.

We all like it. I used it when we made some chocolate buns, they came out light and fluffy and were eaten before they’d even cooled down so I would say all the family like them

Yes, it’s nice to eat. It’s not greasy or fake tasting like other ‘healthy’ spreads. I want to improve our diets by using healthier alternatives and trying to make as much I can at home so I would definitely use it again.

It does - it's vegan, tasty and inexpensive.

It is very tasty. The only downside is the plastic packaging as I had been trying to reduce/eliminate single-use plastic but since going vegan, I'm not sure there are any non-dairy spreads that are not in plastic.

It tastes like salted butter which is what we used to buy anyway. We all like it!

It was nice and light, I prefer real butter but this product doesn’t pretend it is that and feels healthier to eat.

It didn’t have much flavour to it but probably because it is a healthier option.

Kids liked it and didn’t notice the difference, even the 1 year old who likes to lick it all off his bread first!

I liked the lightness of it, I think I would prefer to use it in cakes rather than as a spread, simply because it didn’t have a lot of flavour to it.

Yes, as we are trying to eat more vegan/vegetarian food, and my children are becoming more environmentally conscious, we love the light, additive free, with omega 3 and 6 for my husbands high cholesterol levels it ticks all our boxes

We liked the plant goodness on our sandwiches, it looked lovely on the bread, tasted fabulous on our packed lunches, and was so much more healthy than our other flora spread.

We liked the delicate taste, the colour, and the feeling in our tummies that it is good for us.

I will still buy butter for some of our cooking, but will definitely swap to flora light, and have recommended this to my parents, both of whom have high cholesterol, and on a health swap diet - and want to swap to a healthier diet now they are nearing retirement.

yes flora is aa brand we can trust
Flora does cater to all my family needs as producing products that the whole family can enjoy
I liked that it was good to use in cooking and produced great fresh baked items but disliked it melted quickly, was very light and lacking in any flavour
I would buy to use in cooking but did lack lots of flavour for every day use on say toast
I would again recommend for others to use in cooking and melts quickly so easy to use in cooking home baked items

Most definitely. We regularly buy Flora products because it’s trustworthy and never let us down!

Yes everyone likes the taste of Flora, which can’t be said for other brands creating similar products. As a family, we use a lot of spread on toast or sandwiches for packed lunch, even as a jacket potato topping. So for it to be well received by everyone is a must!

I liked that it was a lighter product with no compromise on taste. This is a big plus for ones wanting to eat spread without the guilt!

I liked the taste. I could taste that it was different to the regular product but not in a negative way.
As for my family, nobody commented that it tasted different so that’s a success!

I used to buy Flora years ago but have gradually tried other brands as they have appeared or had an offer. After trying this will happily go back to Flora if the price is competitive
