It was surprisingly buttery. Unlike other light spreads. Spread easily straight from the fridge.

Yes I’d choose it when buying a light spread for general toast and sandwiches if it was at the right price. I’d still buy blocks of butter and full fat baking spread for baking with though

Yes the whole family really liked it - it tasted natural and creamy and not at all like i was expecting (a bit like plastic).

yes we could all enjoy it, plus it was low in calories.

We liked the taste and the flavour - we used it on toast which was delicious. My daughter also used it to make banana bread and cakes and it was great in those as well. We didn't dislike anything.

Yes everyone liked it a lot. It tasted of natural ingredients, was flavoursome and easy to spread. Very creamy.

Yes I think i would buy it instead of margerine as the taste is so good.

Yes - tasty enough for everyone, & I no longer worry about how much (too much!) spread DH piles onto his toast.

Liked the taste, & the fact I can bake with it too. I often bake for vegans, so love that it's plant based & I don't have to buy different spreads for different needs.

We all liked the taste. DH noticed it was different to our usual, but was quite happy with it, & he's moaned about healthy spreads before now.

  Yes, definitely. It's the first light spread we've tried that tastes more like regular spread, & not artificial.

Yes we would. We buy flora buttery anyway but i don’t bake with it. I used flora light to bake some cookies and they came out really well.

Yes we definitely would

Satisfied as the product is healthy and tastes as good as alternatives
It is a trusted brand in our house although tend to purchase when on special offer
Flora does cater for us as the items vary e.g. for baking, if dieting etc
I like it being vegetarian and tastes as good as alternatives
We liked the taste, husband noticed no change to the spread we were using

I would choose it for a light spread for myself. But the family want to eat butter.

The whole family were satisfied with flora light, tasted great in sandwiches, on toast and melted into hot jacket potatoes. Flora is a trustworthy, consistent brand which caters to all family needs. We all liked the taste and creaminess, the lower calories was an added bonus. If this product was the same price as the store brand then I would definitely buy it. I always go for the cheapest ‘light’ spread so if flora was on offer I’d buy it. I would recommend this product as it tasted great and worked in multiple meals. Thank you for letting us try it.

Me and my family enjoyed the taste very much mostly in sandwiches but I have also cooked with flora and all tasted fantastic.

We all liked the taste and texture. It was very smooth and easy to spread on bread which we liked. I also like that it is low in calories compared to others.

We all liked the taste. I’ve found that sometimes ‘light’ spreads don’t always taste as nice as normal ones but this tasted really nice.

Yes I would choose this. Mainly because it is low calorie and because it is very tasty.

I love the buttery taste of it, and the fact it's light makes me even happier! My children liked it on their jacket potatoes and in sandwiches etc, they asked if it was new

Yes we all collectively enjoyed it, my 6 year old asked if we can change to this too from now on

yes, my son mentioned it was much nicer than the other butter we currently use, starts with a c and a leading brand also, so if he prefers it like I believe we all did, I see it as a positive, not only are they really enjoying it, but it's light and a much healthier alternative for them

yes, as a family it will become our go to brand we buy, and I shall tell other family members and our friends how good it was too

Very satisfied. We are very much a butter household and do not typically buy alternatives which was my main reason for wanting to take part in this test. It proved much tastier than I had expected.

I don't really know. Trust how?

Well my two daughters thought it was 'heavenly' and have asked me to purchase this instead of our usual butter. DH would not be swayed although he conceded that it tasted quite nice.

• What did you like or dislike about new Flora Light? What did your family like or dislike?

It is very light and smooth with little aftertaste and a similar flavour to butter. DD1 thought it looked much nicer than block butter. I like that it has 'absolutely no preservatives, artificial colours or flavours'.
I am not keen on the plastic packaging. I would also prefer an organic product.

I thought it was pleasant, DH begrudgingly admitted it 'is fine' and DD1 and DD2 thought it was 'heavenly' and much nicer than our usual butter.

I might buy in addition to our usual butter but would prefer if organic. My girls have asked me to please buy it. I would rather not buy plastic but did see that it can be fully recycled at least.

I think I probably would and most certainly would do so to my vegan friends as a tasty alternative to butter.

We were really satisfied with the new Flora Light. My 5-year-old was particularly delighted - he said his corn on the cob tasted 'extra juicy and delicious' compared to our normal butter brand.

Yes, I would. I've been looking to reduce my family's dairy and red meat intake and opting for a plant-based spread is one way to do that. Plus it's really tasty!

We liked the taste, easy to spread and that the kids could spread it easily themselves unlike many other brands. I didn’t like the design on the packaging looks so similar to the original flora.

Quite satisfied we generally liked the taste and the consistency was good.

We prefer the taste of actual butter on toast and bagels on its own, but couldn’t taste a difference in sandwiches, jacket potatoes and in cooking.

Quite satisfied, much nicer than I expected it to be and we're all happy to use it in place of our usual spread.

I wasn't sure about it at first, but have found I quite like its creaminess. It also spreads well.

I found it different at first, but have got used to its taste. My son quite liked the taste, but my daughter didn't like it.

I might buy this alongside my usual Olive spread that we all like and are used to, but probably only if it was on offer. We still like our butter and I buy a baking margarine for making cakes - I hadn't really considered cooking with Flora Light.
