I loved that it was easier to spread than my usual butter. This meant less tearing of the bread, and less waste than usual. My son only likes butter spread very thinly and this made it easier. It also tasted quite buttery, nicer than any other spread I’ve tried in the past.

They liked it. I may still have butter for a treat, such as when having people for a special meal, (you can put real butter in a nice butter dish!) but for everyday use this is great as it’s lower calorie.

Yes the flavour was better than others tried in the past.

Yes as it’s healthier but you can’t taste the difference.

We were all very satisfied with Flora Light - DH usually chooses butter but even he said he was happy to switch for the health benefits!

Yes, it's a name which has just always been there and I am never disappointed with Flora products.

Being vegetarian, it was great to use a spread that ticks the ethics box for me as I try to move away from dairy products. My DDs didn't mind the change either, and DH (as I said above) was happy to try it too.

I liked that it was so easy to spread and the taste was great. My family liked the taste too although they said they might not be ready to give up on their dairy versions altogether.

We all thought it tasted quite smooth and creamy.

I would definitely prefer us to use this more often because it is the lighter, healthier option. I think it's what you get used to, so if we use it much more then my family would adjust more easily to phasing out their usual brands. I might have to get my DH to use Flora Buttery instead!

I would happily recommend Flora Light because plant-based products are the future, and I'd advocate it as a great option for those moving towards a vegetarian or vegan lifestyle. I am also concerned about products using Palm oil, but at least Flora utilises sustainable palm oil!

We were really satisfied with this product. It tasted really good, to the extent that my husband didn’t even realise that it was a ‘light’ product.

We liked the taste and that it is a healthier version. We liked the fact that it was perfectly good for baking and made no difference to the quality of our cakes!

We really like the taste! Had it on it’s own on toast and got the thumbs up from me and both my children.

Yes I would. I felt that the quality of the product was very high and I really like the fact that for a light version it didn’t compromise on taste or on versatility.

Yes, especially to those who are health conscious. It was tasty and uncompromising which makes it a winner for me!

I love how easy it is to spread. It tastes creamy and just slightly salty. Love it.

Yes I would if it was at a competitive price. I doubt I'd pay full price but I would buy it when on offer.

Yes I would as I loved the taste and the texture. Much easier to spread than butter and tastes nearly as good.

I really liked that it melted in well. We eat lots of toast and find that usually 'lighter' versions sit on the bread rather than melt in. This didn't, lovely buttery texture and taste. Perfect. My family didn't notice any difference from our usual brand and liked flora light just as much despite it being lower fat.

Yes, on a par with our usual full fat butter.

If it was at a good price and fit in with our grocery budget I would definitely buy as we all enjoyed it.

Yes I would. Purely for the fact that it's a light spread but tastes better than all other similar light spreads we've tried. Big thumbs up from us!

We were really pleased with it. I hadn't expected it to match up to our usual product but it was actually nicer in some ways.

To some extent, like most established brands, I'd expect them to follow legal requirements for production and sale of their products but I'd also expect that they would put a desire to make profit ahead of pointing out any downsides of their product compared to other similar products.

Everyone in our family was able to eat this and use it for all the purposes they use our usual product for.

What did you like or dislike about new Flora Light? What did your family like or dislike?
I found it easy to spread and everyone liked the taste of it. Baked products turned out well. I didn't like the smell much as it smells buttery to me and I don't like the smell of butter.

I liked it in baking but wouldn't have used it as a spread because the buttery smell put me off.

How did your family like the taste of New Flora Light?
The rest of the family enjoyed the spread in all the ways they tried it (in mashed potato, on a crumpets, on a toasted currant bun, on toast with poached egg and used in a pear and raspberry upside down cake) and my young sons may have eatenmore than usual at some meals.

I think we might. We really liked it.

I don't tend to make recommendations unless someone asks me about what we use and if we like it but would be very positive about it if anyone asked for suggestions.

It won't replace butter though as we have that on toast and on bread if in its own but for sandwiches it's perfect and spreadable

The packaging is appealing. It is easily spreadable and tastes good. Doesn't leave a claggy taste in the mouth (like a greasy film!) Like other brands.

It was very pleasant. It obviously isn't as good as real butter but it's nowhere near as unhealthy so that needs to be taken into account. I thought given the low calories, that it was really quite good.

Not at the moment, but only because my daughter is only 1 and doesn't drink milk, so I am trying to get dairy and fats into her in other ways. This would mean I needed to buy 2 similar products.

Yes, it is a good product, and super healthy. Tastes pretty good too.

It tasted good and was very easy to spread being soft straight from the fridge. It was great on sandwiches and toast. It was a good price and a good sized tub.

It tasted good, and had a nice buttery taste. I didn't know from the taste that it was a lighter version.

Yes I would choose it over other brands as it is lighter and tasted good. It also contains Omega's so is a healthy choice.

We loved the taste, although my littlest one said it tasted of flowers, so he wasn’t keen, the rest of us couldn’t tell a difference and it left a creamy taste in the mouth

I’ve already repurchased this as I feel it’s good value for money as it spreads so easily that a little goes a long way, and I don’t think my family will notice the switch, but I’ll know it’s better for them than the spread we normally purchase

Possibly. The level of dairy allergy means that this was fine for DS, so having a bit of choice of spread is nice.
