Flora has been a household favourite for generations. Use it to make tempting toast, spectacular sandwiches and hit-the-spot snacks. Flora’s new recipe is made from 7 simple ingredients and has absolutely no preservatives, artificial colours or flavours. Our product is certified vegan; however, we don’t recommend if you have a dairy allergy.”

As someone who used flora whilst growing up I was keen to try this new product and I'm incredibly glad I did!
It was easy to spread straight from the fridge and had a lovely taste. Would definitely recommend to others and would definitely consider buying it. Thank you for allowing me to be part of the review process.

I am very satisfied with flora light. We always use flora at home and i m very impressed with flora light because it has the same taste as the original and has less calories. My family didn't see difference. I would definitely recommend to friends and family. And we already decided to swap to flora light in order to maintain healthy life.

Barracker · 11/10/2019 16:00

Flora announced today they want nothing to do with Mumsnetters or our nasty mum money, presumably.

Perhaps they've made use of all your lovely positive feedback comments already and now they can safely distance themselves from you for using this reprehensible site which isn't in line with its values.

Who knows.

On second thoughts it tasted like misogyny. I’ve binned it.

BarbaraStrozzi · 11/10/2019 16:03

Anyone got any good alternatives to flora for cake baking now I know they don't want my custom?

FilthyBiscuit · 11/10/2019 16:04

#WomenMatter.
HTH.

TiredofthisBS · 11/10/2019 16:21

As Flora doesn't want my money, I shall not be wasting my time buying it in future. I have also chucked the tub of stork I had in the bin. Prefer Lurpack anyway.

RubyViolet · 11/10/2019 16:29

Can anyone suggest alternatives to Flora ? I won’t be buying it after this development. Will be telling everyone in my baking group about this decision.

TitianaTitsling · 11/10/2019 17:19

I couldnt recommend Flora to anyone now, the thought of it leaves a foul taste.

This.

Butter FTW

HumberElla · 11/10/2019 18:21

They were Very Happy to take all those fab reviews and mumsnetters time testing it, but then tells us all we are haters and they want nothing to do with MN.

Pretty shady values there Flora!

HermioneWeasley · 11/10/2019 18:24

Women talking about their rights is “hate” apparently.

Upfields and their crappy products won’t want any of our bigoted money then. Hope their shareholders agree that women understanding biology is hate that’s worth losing business over.

Gingerkittykat · 11/10/2019 18:51
  • Is Flora a brand you can trust?
Nope, definitely not.
  • Is Flora a brand that caters to all your family’s needs?
Not the women and girls
  • Would you choose New Flora Light for you or your family over other margarine and/or butter brands? Please explain why or why not

Nope, Flora have sent out a clear message that they want to silence women who want to protect their sex based rights.

  • Would you recommend Flora Light to friends or family? Please explain why or why not.

Absolutely not #boycotFlora
(and the fact that it is artificial greasy and horrible and full of palm oil)

Imonlymoominafterall · 11/10/2019 19:14

Well I don't know what the fuck I'm going to do my grouting with now Flora is off the list.

SpinneyHill · 11/10/2019 19:38

So strange they didn't 'investigate' before deciding approved by Mumsnet was a desirable marketing tool
