Yes I would, it is very similar to the other flora product we already use.

It was OK, but nothing special.

Not sure. As a family we are trying to avoid palm oil. On the ingredients list, Flora states that they strive to use only sustainable palm oil but I'd prefer to see an alternative oil used in the product.

• What did you like or dislike about new Flora Light? What did your family like or dislike? My family didn't notice any difference on their toast or in sandwiches- we normally use spreadable butter. I didn't particularly like the colour of the product - it seemed to go very yellow in the fridge and I did notice the taste was different from our normal butter, though not unpleasant.
• Did you like the taste of New Flora Light? How did your family like the taste of New Flora Light? As above - my family didn't notice any change, which is positive as they are happy with our regular product.
• Would you choose New Flora Light for you or your family over other margarine and/or butter brands? Please explain why or why not. Probably not - it wasn't anything special.

I liked the fact it was easy to apply and use, and that it is low fat so i know my children are being healthy

We have been eating it and it is fine, but I personally find it rather bland. I love real butter and this just doesn't have such a pleasant taste.

I didn't particularly like the taste but it fulfilled my family's needs and we all ate it happily.

It is - no nasties in there, so suitable for the little one, and lower in calories so suitable for me, trying to manage my weight!

We loved the flavour, and the fact that it's nice and easy to either spread or spoon out of the tub for baking.

It's delicious! I love it just spread on toast...19 month old Oscar was a big fan of it in his sandwiches...and in the cakes we made!

Yes. It's a brand I trust and regularly use, the flavour is great, and it's not as high in fat as butter, and is easier to use.

Yes. Ticks all the boxes for our family in terms of flavour, ease of use, ingredients etc - and it's not badly priced either.

Kids liked it as it was much easier to spread than butter, even on very soft bread.

It tasted OK on a sandwich or in baking but on it's own not so much. Prefer butter or other buttery spreads.

No, I wouldn't. Other spreads taste better. I'd prefer butter as kids need full fat but don't need palm oil.

The fact that this was 100% plant based was great.

Very easy to spread with a nice taste. I also liked it is 40cals per 10g serving. I would have liked it more of it could be guaranteed to be completely milk free as a vegan spread. It means I’d not use it when baking for wider family members who have a dairy allergy.

We all liked it. It tasted nice.

I would. I like that it is 100% plant based. It tastes good is low calorie compared to other options. I also like that it melted properly on hot toast etc.

Loved the taste, the children loved it on its own on bread, I thought it was really nice and buttery, without being hard to spread straight from the fridge.

Most definitely. Ive grown up knowing flora, its definitely a brand i feel at ease with when giving it to my family.

Our family is made up of 2 "trying to be good parents" one being vegetarian and 2 little fuss pots so having something that is low in fat but tasty suits us very well.

I thought my husband would hate it as he and the children usually have lighter butter but we thought it was surprisingly creamy for something plant based and the kids didnt notice a difference.

If i am grabbing a low fat plant based spread it will be flora light. The fact that you can bake with it, without it effecting the taste or the consistency is a bonus.

Most definitely. Its always at a reasonable price and is just as tasty as the higher end plant based brands.

No as it wasn’t buttery enough or had enough taste for me. I really noticed the difference when eating it in sandwiches, toast and fresh bread

The whole family were very satisfied with the new Flora Light we tried.
I've been using Flora for years, so it's a brand I know and trust already.
There's so many different Flora's in the their range, that there's always something for everyone, so whichever I choose, it goes down well.
It's easily spreadable, like the others in the range, even straight from the fridge, so great for the whole family when using it.

To be honest the family eat what I buy on the supermarket shop and I'm not sure they'd notice a taste difference between the different varieties, but personally I prefer the buttery one - it's a taste thing :) but certainly nothing to dislike about Flora Light that's for sure.
I would choose Flora over other brands, as it's already on my shopping list, as the chief supermarket shopper in our family, but I'd probably pick buttery unless advised to go 'Light' by the Dr or for anyone else in the family.
I would recommend Flora Light to friends and family anyway, but the added bonus and what people are taking into account more of these days is the fact that there's absolutely no artificial colours or flavours in the ingredients.

Very satisfied. I thought being a 'light' it would be lacking creaminess, but was pleasantly surprised.

It's a brand i can trust to be consistent with their products.

Yes. We've had the flora buttery when on offer and always enjoyed it, but I've always resisted buying the 'light' versions for taste reasons, assuming them to be lacking flavour. Better and healthier for all of us if we switch.

No one noticed the change, which must be a good sign. It spread really nicely. I used it when baking and it whipped up really smooth. My only negative was that the lid didn't want to stay firmly on and i repeatedly ended up with a corner dipped in the spread.

It had a nice 'buttery' taste. I used it in the mash potatoes for our sunday roast and they were lovely and creamy. However i did find myself adding a little extra salt when having it with a jacket potato.

Now I have tried it, I will definitely switch to the 'light' version. It has really surprised me how tasty it was for a healthier alternative, which can only be a good thing for all of us.

Yes i would. Its healthier, and still as tasty.

I absolutely love this, it spread well straight from the fridge and the kids took to it right away. So as a family we were all very satisfied.

Loved the taste, it was nice and creamy without an oily aftertaste.

Yes it is now our permanent spread as it tastes a lot nicer and doesn't leave behind a synthetic oily aftertaste. Plus it's healthier.

I already have to my eldest daughter and they have both already switched over due to the taste and it being a healthier choice. It's competitively priced also making it affordable for most people.

Very satisfied, found it to be extremely light and soft. Easy to spread and still with a great taste!

Loved how light and spreadable it was. Only dislike would be price point. At £2 found it would be a little steep on our smaller budget shopping.

The texture and taste were really nice. It was spreadable straight from the fridge and the whole family enjoyed it. I thought the packaging was suitable the brand and was eye catching.

We all really enjoyed it, I would never naturally go for a lighter option by your product has changed my mind.

I am surprised to say I would. This tastes good and is a healthier option than more usual spread.

Absolutely, it tastes fantastic for a lighter spread.

I was very satisfied with Flora Light.
I don't feel strongly either way about trusting a healthy margarine brand.
It was suitable for all the family. We all liked the bright and bold artwork/rebranding. Yes I would buy again and recommend as it's a healthy and family friendly spread.

We were quite satisfied. There are still quite a lot of times we prefer butter. But for making sandwiches or baking I would use this.

I think Flora is a name you can trust. After that it just comes down to a personal preference for actual butter.

It was suitable for all the family, however my DD rejected it on toast.

Liked the packaging.
Good that it spreads straight from fridge.
There isn't really a 'taste' though. It's kind of like using oil.

Would probably buy it for baking with. If it was on offer.

Would recommend to others. If they have a preference for a spread that is not butter.
