This is the feedback thread for the 250 Mumsnet users who have been testing Flora Light with their family.

Here’s what Flora has to say: “Try Flora Light’s great new taste with 100% plant goodness*. Our lightest oil blend with 40 calories per serving (10g). Flora has been a household favourite for generations. Use it to make tempting toast, spectacular sandwiches and hit-the-spot snacks. Flora’s new recipe is made from 7 simple ingredients and has absolutely no preservatives, artificial colours or flavours. Our product is certified vegan; however, we don’t recommend if you have a dairy allergy.”

Testers, please leave your feedback by answering the questions below as well as completing the short survey we’ve emailed you.

  • Overall, how satisfied were you and your family with new Flora Light?
  • Is Flora a brand you can trust?
  • Is Flora a brand that caters to all your family’s needs?
  • What did you like or dislike about new Flora Light? What did your family like or dislike?
  • Did you like the taste of New Flora Light? How did your family like the taste of New Flora Light?
  • Would you choose New Flora Light for you or your family over other margarine and/or butter brands? Please explain why or why not
  • Would you recommend Flora Light to friends or family? Please explain why or why not.

All testers who complete both pieces of feedback will be entered into a prize draw where one Mumsnet tester will win a £300 voucher for the store of their choice (from a list).

Thanks and good luck!

There's still something very weird about Upfield reacting to a post from a woman who took a transexual (Miranda Yardley) to court for being "transphobic" (the case was thrown out less than a day in). And deciding this woman is a good authority on what is and isn't transphobic. Thus leading to the blanket dismissal of one of the largest female dominated social media sites in the world. And therefore that pissing off potentially 12 million women (who are in charge of the weekly grocery shop when you in fact sell grocery products) would be a smart business move.

Like I said on another thread: Gerald Ratner, anyone?

Has the prize daw winner been announced?

Coyoacan · 11/10/2019 23:22

Well all I can say is that twelve million households will be a lot healthier without all those trans fats.
