It was very easy to spread but we didn’t like the new taste. I like that it is low calories but I have found a replacement spread which is even lower.

After numerous years of using the old Flora Light I found this new one horrible. I didn’t not like the taste or the smell of it unfortunately. The rest of my family doesn’t mind it but have noticed a difference.

No, I did. It enjoy the taste and even the smell of it has put me off.

The children do prefer butter and although they were ok with flora they did notice the difference What did your family like or dislike? They liked that it was easy to spread but found it melted quickly and they were not keen on it when it melted on toast

I would choose flora as its a brand i trust and its a healthier option to butter. I do worry especially when the children have lots of packed lunches that they get too many healthy products. They liked the flora light so i would be happyto use it

I would as it is healthier and reasonably priced.

We were definitely more satisfied than we expected. I would say 7/10 satisfied, which is quite high from me!

Is Flora a brand you can trust?

Yes, more than I did, anyway. Growing up, Flora wasn't a brand I felt was for me, but I would revise that at this point.

Is Flora a brand that caters to all your family’s needs?

No, although this product is vegan, Flora advises not to trust it if you have dairy allergies, so that rules out one of my sons, unfortunately.

What did you like or dislike about new Flora Light? What did your family like or dislike?

I prefer real butter, and it didn't taste quite right to me, but the rest of the family who tried it (husband and one son) thought it was fine both in sandwiches and on toast. I liked the price but I was disappointed my dairy-allergic son couldn't have it. That means that if we buy it we'd still need to get olive spread too, which kind of negates the point tbh.

For me, fine on toast with a spread, but not on its own so much, though I would eat it if it's all we had in. The others liked it.

I have to say not, but purely because of the dairy allergy aspect. If I have to buy olive spread for the allergic son anyway, then if I'm buying a second product it may as well be actual butter rather than another butter substitute. If we could all eat it, it would be a different matter.

Yes, if someone was hesitating becuase they thought it would taste like old-style margarine, I would encourage them to try it for themself.

Overall, how satisfied were you and your family with new Flora Light? It was nice, tasty. Spreads nicely from the fridge but if its left out on the side for a day it melts a bit too much and seperates.

We loved that the low calorie of it didn’t effect the fast :-) We didn’t like the amount of plastic as we are trying to cure down

I enjoyed this product. It was well used, which is always a great sign! It had a good taste, and was easily spread. When shopping for a spread, this is what I'd look for so it was a winner from me.

Absolutely. There aren't any nasty surprises in the ingredients list!

Again, absolutely.

I liked how easily it was spread on fresh bread. It's still not quite the same decadence as real butter, but it seems much better for the waistline and wallet.

Yes, the taste was okay. We had bee using regular butter, and it's not quite the same, but no complaints all the same

My husband prefers olive spreads but said he would be happy to stick with the flora. My son didn't complain which is about as good as it gets from a fussy toddler.

I would if the price was right. It wasn't so special I would pay much extra for it but it would be above many other similar priced spreads we had tried.

Yes. For someone looking for a light version I think its a good option.

It was okay. Whilst we appreciated the health benefits, the taste was not on par with butter and for us, we would rather stick with butter and make changes elsewhere.

Yes, I think they do good research and their claims are truthful.

Not really, we do not ususally use spread and this test has not convinced us to switch either.

The taste is not to our taste! The consistency is too thick and it makes sandwiches a bit cloying. The only benefit is that it spreads straight from the fridge.

Not really. We like the pure butter taste and would want something that had the same taste and texture as that. This was oilier.
