Chatty thread whilst waiting for Chernobs 2019

I'm waiting for the Chernobs thread to start - it's my favourite one . I am sure we're all horrendously busy - I'm trying to finish off DS's blanket he ordered for Christmas. But it's mostly Lobelia and I can't see at night for the joining and he's been off school sick this week. Aaaatrrggghhh. However because of that, I have almost finished joining a Kinship hug - ran out of plum for the edging so have to go to wool shop tomorrow.

Have also started my Chernobs blanket but think I've mucked up the colours so may have to do some frogging.

I’d love to come up to Leeds on the Friday, if I can swing it to not work that night I will for sure! I was going to book at the Marriot, but the Discovery Inn was only £75 and looks ok, so I booked there for the Saturday night (I can cancel before the 27th of Feb - so I’ll have a look around later. Open to suggestions or warnings!)

I didn’t really know who was coming to the last one, and it’s awkward to ask others if they’re MNers without sounding like you didn’t want to meet/talk to non MNers. obviously that wasn’t the case it’s just nice to put faces to MN names! (but obviously you don’t have to give your MN name at the Event if you don’t want to)

Hi @Okki - yes IIRC it was extended to Oct 28th - I am trying to get a few extra squares done to post off at the end of the week

Thanks @bookbook. I thought I'd try and get a couple done. I haven't done any crochet for ages - we got a rescue dog and I learnt the hard way not to have any wool lying around.
