And when GLP talks of policies that protect all children, you can be pretty sure they mean policies that expose all children to lies and gaslighting.

As for “There is nothing in the Equality Act that always requires schools to ban trans pupils from using facilities that align with their lived gender” — I thought it was illegal to force children to use mixed-sex changing room? Not in the Equality Act but in other laws covering child safety at school?

Yes I think it’s the School Premises Regulations 2012 among other things.

I am never sure if the GLP are just liars or whether they actively want to enable abuse of girls deliberately.

Policies that let boys use spaces where girls are undressed or dealing with periods etc are abusive to girls and certainly don't protect all children. And these policies cause immense further distress to girls who have already experienced sexual abuse (or battled to protect their own bodily privacy from men eg dads who lie they are women and want to watch their daughters get undressed).
the Children of Transitioners group wrote about what they need in school here
https://childrenoftransitioners.org/how-to-help-children-of-transitioners/

and there is a safeguarding email they sent to a school here:
https://childrenoftransitioners.org/schools-safeguarding-email-from-cots/

The GLP act as if girls are not children, not worthy of basic safeguarding protection at all. It's vile.

It is over 8(?) the English school has to provide single sex changing rooms and toilets. Along side accessable single occupancy units.

Putting a male child in with girls is not safeguarding as when girls have objections family may take matters into their own hands.

Dragonasaurus · 03/02/2026 12:19

So the GLP believe that girls should be forced to undress in front of boys, and that helps keep all children safe….. In fact, they believe this so hard that they’d like to fight it out in court? Actually, I’d love to hear someone defend this pov!

Beowulfa · 03/02/2026 12:19

Adult men arguing that boys in girls changing rooms "protects all children". In a week dominated by the Pedo Island files. What a hill to die on.

Let’s hope this will attract attention of the wider public, and that more parents in this particular school become concerned about mixed sex spaces.

MrsOvertonsWindow · 03/02/2026 12:46

It's long overdue that certain adults in schools were forced to defend their desperation to impose mixed sex changing, showering, toilets and dormitories on children. Because this doesn't stop at changing rooms and toilets and it doesn't stop with their teenage peers - it includes all men, no matter what their age.

The idea that children are not entitled to boundaries from the opposite sex is predatory - there's no other way of describing it.

Schools like this are schools telling girls that they have no right to object if a male - boy or man - requires access to their undressed body. They are training girls to be submissive and to obey predatory males. They are teaching girls (and boys) that they have no agency, no voice and no rights in the face of men's demands.

This is not OK.

Oh wow, so now the GLP are lined up against you as well as the school😐
They appear not to be very good at winning, so in fact their presence may tip the balance in your favour!

As PPs have said, allowing boys to be in girls' facilities is far removed from 'protecting all children', but I guess boys wouldn't be very pleased at having a girl in their changing room - boys are entitled to privacy too.

This is assuming that a trans-identifying girl in a boy's changing room would not be harmed, that the boys would instead be embarrassed by her presence; but supposing things took a nasty turn and they did something to the isolated girl?

The school would have difficult questions to answer about the wisdom of their laissez-faire attitude to changing rooms and toilets.

Chariothorses · 03/02/2026 13:15

@MarieDeGournay One of my aquaintances is 'safeguarding lead' in a large 6th form college and she had a group of 5 boys come to her concerned about one of the girls (who says she's a boy), who was making a big fuss about wanting to use the boys sports changing rooms. The boys wanted to know if this would ever be allowed, as they were horrified.

Fortunately the college has strong SG policies that protect all students, not just the trans ones- and people who don't want to use the communal areas for their sex can access individual changing spaces/ toilets. No one is ever allowed to access spaces for the opposite sex.

So this issue doesn't just affect girls, there are nice lads out there who also are aware of the SG and privacy issues, and are also too scared about abuse from the trans mafia to speak up.

TheNightingalesStarling · 03/02/2026 13:21

I don't getvsome peoples logic.
They accept there is safeguarding and privacy reasons for separate facilities.
However they think the same reasons disappear if a person says they want to be the opposite gender.

There is either a reason for separate facilities, or there isn't. If they were arguing for extra facilities for those who need complete privacy, it would be logical.

ApplebyArrows · 03/02/2026 13:42

This is even worse than men in female changing rooms at gyms etc. Teenage boys are particularly bad with boundaries and teenage girls are particularly vulnerable, plus the girls really have very little choice in being there - if they repeatedly refuse to get changed for PE they're going to get into a lot of trouble.

I can fathom the mindset that this a practice actively worth spending time and money on to defend.

This is so important. We quite rightly focus on the damage done to girls from these insane levels of coercive control visited on them. But anyone who's a parent or has worked with teenage boys know that many of them are acutely embarrassed / concerned about their developing bodies and can be subject to bullying and abuse.

No school should be listening to organisations trying to remove safeguarding from children or persuading them that boundaries from the opposite sex don't exist.

The damage done to children by intimidating them out of their boundaries in terms of privacy, dignity and safety is unimaginable.

titchy · 03/02/2026 14:47

The mindset of people posting their own name on the internet for all to see that they want teenage males to see naked teenage females despite those females not consenting. Beggars belief.

OpheliaWitchoftheWoods · 03/02/2026 14:53

Having observed the OP's thread, well researched and planned actions and posts over the past few months, I know exactly where I'd place my money in a contest between him and the fox botherer.

InconvenientlyMaterial · 03/02/2026 14:58

I'm willing to concede that not everyone at / in support of GLP is an actual pervert.

But fucking hell, they'd not be able to weed out the perverts that have infiltrated.

I wonder if the school welcome this "support" given the track record?

In legal circles the intervention of the GLP appears to raise major red flags about the credibility of a case, judging by the comments from numerous respected legal bods.

Boys are more at risk reputation wise because an suggestion that a girl (or group of girls) was physically or sexually aggressive to remove a boy would be seen as more of a joke.

While the same action would be taken much more seriously if the allegation is made against a boy.

Lucky lad to be in with naked girls wink wink

We all know why would a lad want to be in with a naked girl wink wink
