The sisterhood though - open to all people to share their experiences of "living as women". Those words again.

No comments in the press release about some of those women - you know the ones the WI was actually set up for - being very pleased about this development I notice.

The annoucement is now running late. Obviously the WI spokesperson is having to mentally prepare for the ordeal.

I'm pissed off with this. They are missing the fucking obvious.

Doesn't the WI only meet monthly anyway? And how can they exclude other men from these special meetings?

Anyway, before anyone comes to tell us that GC means hating men or hating trans people or loving gender stereotypes...

This is about male people in female-only spaces regardless of whether they are transgender or not.

Or left-handed, or Saggitarius, or colour-blind.

Female people who don't feel that they have a gender identity that aligns with their sex (whatever that would be) are still welcome in the WI and other single-sex spaces, because the differentiator is their sex, not their feelings.

Woman's Hour having to fly the flag at half mast, stop all the clocks etc once again as the men's rights movement suffers another blow.

Why is it always males wanting to enter female spaces, why is the news never females wanting to enter male spaces?

Would it not be better to form perhaps a trans wi group so trans women can socialise and make it ally friendly so others can attend if wish?

Then biological womens spaces are safe.

I hope members who avoid the 'Sisterhood' meetings will still have enough proper meetings to go to.
