HW has posted on r/transgenderuk.
This past few weeks I’ve been in studios from Liverpool, to London, to Washington DC, using my voice to stand up for the trans community. What a whirlwind trip!

But the TRAs are NOT happy.

Helen, please. We know you probably mean well, but you DO NOT have the rhetorical or tactical skill to do this. You're damaging the cause you claim to be championing.

HW = Helen Webberley. You'll find a few threads on here about her.

It's an interesting read. Helen is probably quite devastated - she posted her smug message all about 'we' and 'us' & all the work she's been doing for them and she gets those responses.

I am not feeling in the least bit sorry for her, in case this reads as though I am. I do wonder what it would take for her to turn on them. Maybe we're about to find out?

A couple of days ago there was a post on Reddit saying that a BBC journalist was asking for their input regarding GenderGP. They are all united in not wanting to spill the beans on GenderGP. One comment was,

Yes, women's things exclude males. That's the point of them. And never mind the huge female population, and what we want and need. As for "how to win these arguments even more[sic] convincingly," well you can't win an argument when you're wrong. (Unless of course you browbeat people and silence the opposition.)
