She was very good at highlighting the contradictory claims. 'It's an attack on trans people' but also 'won't make any difference'.

Her X account is protected, so I guess there’s an on-going pile on.

Her interview with Herbert was a thing of beauty.

I remember her from the Heather Herbert interview. That was glorious 🤣 He was expecting to get lots of sympathy and to be able to trot out his most marginalised people...Trump...blah blah blah...lines with no challenge and she was having none of it.

I hope she isn't sanctioned though.

Dear Lord. I hadn’t seen that interview with Heather Herbert before……”If I can’t use women’s loos I can’t go to work”. It’s wilful blindness not to see that all the females she works with have had to be without women’s loos for the entire time she’s been their colleague. Of those for whom this was a problem, how far does she think they’d get in saying they can’t go in to work for this reason?!

YESSS! What a sassy blonde! Just hope this doesn't affect her career, as I know how upset some people get when people say stuff like this.

Throwing this out there to get poster’s thoughts….The interview with Heather was great, because Martine critiqued the arguments put forward and challenged where there was a lack of coherence between the different claims being made. I expect those on the TRA side of things regarded the interview as hostile.

I regarded the questioning of Baroness Faulkner by the WEC to be hostile. The context of multiple people versus one might have contributed to how inappropriate it seemed, but I’d think there was more to it than just this.

What thoughts do people have about the differences that makes Martinez’s approach with Heather different to the questions by the WEC?

That eye roll expressed the opinion of many, many women up and down the country.

Good for her! 😃 The phrase "pregnant people" drives me mad. As does "we are pregnant" when uttered by a man about his pregnant female partner.

WOMEN get pregnant. Men do not. Only one person in a couple will be pregnant. It won't be a man!
