There have been so many issues over the last few years with trans rights clashing with women’s rights… its been fascinating, in a bad way.

some that come to mind:

A man photographed breastfeeding a newborn in a bus - and being used by the BBC to represent mothers for a story

A man running a rape crisis centre while saying he’s a women and telling women users of the service to ‘reframe their trauma’

a man saying he’s a women and being appointed to head a charity for endometriosis.

Male police officers who say they are women being allowed to strip search women.

What else…

A woman in-patient reporting to NHS staff that another patient on the ward, a male, raped her and the staff saying 'not possible, there are no men here' and it turned out to be a transwoman.

Over and over again, elected male politicians who strongly supported gender-neutral toilets turning out to be perverts who now have convictions for various sexual offences.

the revelation that so many apparently educated men did not know what a cervix is

A misogynistic young man who called himself “Saviles Apprentice” became a Labour women’s officer and was fawned over by the party and national and international press.

A male comedian who had always said he just liked cross dressing decided he was “genderfluid” presenting himself as a woman when he felt like it and using female facilities while retaining lucrative male acting roles.

Isla Bryson and those pink leggings displaying his "womanhood" with impeccable timing for the GRR bill.

Dr Uptonogood declaring himself to be biologically female in n front of a judge.

Countless men have won women’s awards.

Only yesterday someone pro-trans on a thread on here was saying that trans men can have an enlarged clitoris that becomes “a fully functioning penis”.

Anyone who thinks women pee out of the clitoris (or that a clitoris can be surgically altered so that you can pee out of it), needs a bit more basic anatomical education before joining the debate 😂

A woman who identifies as trans taking a case to be registered as her baby’s dad.

All the silly language from the NHS and others, chest feeders, cervix havers, pregnant people, lady penis, 😡

Or carefully worded articles about women’s health issues where there is no mention of women e.g ‘people’ experience menopause.

Yes, fortunately the courts refused. That same FTM activist made a documentary about the process of getting a GRC and then, within days of being certified male, going to a fertility clinic for help to become pregnant. Two children now. i saw a social media post from this individual saying how disappointing it was not to be able to breastfeed and blaming medical staff for not pointing that this would be the result before carrying out a double mastectomy at the patient's request!

My NHS Trust requiring clinicians to record whether a 2 year old's 'gender identity' is the same as 'their gender assigned at birth'. So much fantasy and gross misinformation all in one go. From a health service, where you'd think a basic understanding of biological sex might prevail. Still a requirement, but I'm hoping its days are numbered.

We need to be teaching biological reality to toddlers and ongoing from there in detail. That level of ignorance is truly shocking (just when I thought I'd reached unshockable...)

From my own personal experience:
Arranging a residential visit for teenagers. Parents of a 16 year old girl asked if she could share a room with boys that she was good friends with, as she had experienced bullying from the other girls on the trip. No spare single rooms available and all parents agreed (all friends and regularly had sleep-overs together at home). Organisation head office said this was absolutely definitely not acceptable even with parental permission from all. On the SAME TRIP, advice from the same person at head office was that a ftm trans young person (with no surgery etc, just change of names/pronouns) must be accommodated with the boys.

He also had a massive hissy fit when another male contestant said he wouldn't kiss him.

Has he had anything to say on this? I've not read anything.
