There have been so many issues over the last few years with trans rights clashing with women’s rights… its been fascinating, in a bad way.

some that come to mind:

A man photographed breastfeeding a newborn in a bus - and being used by the BBC to represent mothers for a story

A man running a rape crisis centre while saying he’s a women and telling women users of the service to ‘reframe their trauma’

a man saying he’s a women and being appointed to head a charity for endometriosis.

Male police officers who say they are women being allowed to strip search women.

What else…

The women being hounded out by those people were ordinary members, not MPs. Rosie hadn’t said anything by that point.

The mob of TRAs trying to attack KJK in New Zealand. It looked like a scene from The Walking Dead, a horde of rabid, violent, woman-haters all pushing and shoving to rip into a single woman. They'd have killed her if one of them had managed to grab hold of her, no doubt about it.

The police happily assisting TRAs with their harassment of women, turning up at their homes to intimidate them for tweeting, stickering, taking photographs of posters etc whilst ignoring TRA violence and death threats to women.

Over the years there's been some ridiculous actions by the police. I can't remember individual cases but along the lines of a serious assault with a description of the assailant white, female, 6ft 5, glasses and to be on the look out. So people are looking out for this woman but of course the attacker is in fact a man. More concerned in the possibility of misgendering rather than giving the general.piblic accurate information.

Also so many news reports where all the way through it talks of a female perpetrator but only when a phograph is given do we see just what type woman it is.

When Nancy Kelley likened gender critical beliefs to antisemitic beliefs.

And when she happily went on record saying, specifically in reference to lesbians, that "if you find that when dating, you are writing off entire groups of people, like people of colour, fat people, disabled people or trans people, then it's worth considering how societal prejudices may have shaped your attractions", with apparently no awareness that this level of homophobia might be at odds with being the head of what liked to be considered the leading gay rights organisation in the country

There was an article a few years ago where the writer disingenuously wrote about the increase in female crime, and without any mention of “trans” used a picture of an obvious man who identifies as a woman to illustrate it.

Driving to a WPUK meeting in Hastings, where there had been, according to police "A credible" bomb threat. Arriving to find mini buses full of police next to the new venue. Finally meeting there, in person, many of the awesome women I'd been interacting with on Twitter.

Fighting my way through the bully boys to get into the WPUK fringe meeting at the Labour Party conference in Brighton. The hammering on the windows so that we would not hear the speakers, the police doing fuck all to stop it. Trying to find a safe space in the building for a young DV survivor who was having a panic attack because of it. Women forming a protective shield around her so that we could get her out and drive her home. Simon Fanshaw and some male LP policy bods had come along and were well and truly peaked that night.

Every time women tried to meet and were attacked for doing so more women peaked.

If you posted a crowdfunding link, those are not allowed on MN in general, it’s not just GC ones. Hence the chat about gardening and planting carrots etc.

So many of these lefty men have revealed themselves to be huge cowards/misogynists. Take Gary Linekar and his absolute refusal to speak up for women in sport 😡
