Transgender woman Maddison Wilson, 37, is accused of abusing the young girl 'with your penis' in 2011, according to the charge sheet.

Wilson is also accused of sexually assaulting a boy under the age of 13 around six years later.

The alleged sex offender spoke only to confirm their preferred pronouns of 'she/her' in the dock at Southampton Magistrates’ Court yesterday.

That seems to be the line the Coroner was trotting out.

But if they accept that this violent sex abuser is a genuine trans person, then they have to also accept that genuine trans people can be violent sex abusers - something which is vehemently denied by the TRAs. The usual disclaimer for cases like this is that they weren’t genuinely trans. So you see the massive contradiction, and the knots they tie themselves up in to distance violent sexual abusers who also have trans identity from those who ‘just want to pee’ etc.

It would be interesting to know about the internal politics of the gender style guide at places like the Mail and the Times. The Mail often runs pieces pulling apart new examples of gender theory idiocy, then also runs pieces describing hideous trans-identifying criminals as women.

In the Times, they use transwoman and trans woman, as well as trans-identifying man. I wonder whose decision wins, the starry writer, the chief sub-editor, the down table sub? These issues must be being endlessly debated within media.
