NHS Fife tries to silence nurse - Sandie Peggie vs NHS Fife Health Board and Dr Beth Upton - thread #12

Sandie Peggie, a nurse at Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy (VH), has brought claims in the employment tribunal against her employer; Fife Health Board (the Board) and another employee, Dr B Upton. Ms Peggie’s claims are of sexual harassment, harassment related to a protected belief, indirect discrimination and victimisation. Dr Upton claims to be a transwoman, that is observed as male at birth but asserting a female gender identity.

The Employment Tribunal hearing started on Monday 3 February 2025 and was expected to continue for 2 weeks although at the start of the second week getting everything done in this time period was looking less certain. The hearing commenced with Sandie Peggie giving evidence. Dr Beth Upton started giving evidence on Thursday 6 February.

I don't think this is true on gender ideology though. Too many sources are completely captured including the national broadcaster. Those who go against the grain are the minority.

NC thinks there are still documents outstanding

What this means is that the restriction order that Upton/NHS made that failed is actually going to be sort of imposed but in a different way.

NC: This disclosure is a considerable volume and we still have much work to do to understand it all, so we are in considerable difficulties with this. Incldues at least one doc [sound very poor but I think NC says, shd have been released earlier per Judge Timmion's order]

The disclosures from both respondents has been ' chaotic and vindictive' and NC is not confident that all disclosures have yet been made.

Not just today... she's now asking to move witnesses after DU evidence finished, but largely should adjourn to a later date because of general incompetence etc.
