I can guarantee you that 99% of the women on here would be polite and courteous to any respectful transperson they meet.
They wouldn't hurl abuse. They wouldn't physically assault them. They wouldn't call them slurs. They wouldn't try and doxx their details.

Nor would they turn up to where a group of trans people were meeting, masked, malevolent, and deliberately making noise to drown out the meeting.

Caitlin Jenner doesn't think that trans women should compete in women's sports. This would be considered transphobic by some on here.

Can the 'you're all transphobic' posters explain that one? Is Caitlin - a trans woman - a big transphobe too?

But moderate ones won’t speak out because they are seen as being like this.

It isn't my job to be welcoming and change my viewpoint and be 'welcoming' to anyone. I don't care whether they are moderate or not. There is no such thing as Trans. They are either men or women.

Now, if a man who wishes to dress in women's clothes, wants to change his name to Brenda and wishes he was a woman but is willing to concede he never will be and doesn't expect me to ignore biological fact then we haven't got a problem. I would have a problem if he expected me to use pro-nouns such as she, expected me to share women only spaces with him and to forget or ignore simple biology. I will not do that. I will not bend to ideologies, especially ones that benefit men and never women.

At the heart of it, it's not about dresses or toilets or pronouns or hormones.

It's about whether you truly believe a woman - any and all women - has one set of non-physical characteristics, and a man - any and all men - has an entirely distinct, different set of non-physical characteristics.

You can be either sex and be (what is traditionally thought of as) masculine and/or feminine. That has no bearing on your body.

No one there does the courteous, softening thing that’s frequently expected of women and rarely of men. I found it hard at first. Now it’s rather refreshing.

Argument?! I'm not arguing anything! I'm telling you that there is no such thing as 'trans'. I'm telling you that you can be either male or female (or a very very tiny % can be born intersex). I am telling you that it doesn't matter what you may think can be achieved by dressing in a traditionally female fashion, what surgery you may have, what fairytale in your head you may come up with - that CANNOT be changed. I am telling you that I will not bend to someone else's whims, wants, desires by recognising someone has something they are not and I will not disregard my knowledge of biological fact to save the feelings of someone else or in an effort to be 'welcoming'.

Being on that list... it's sort of like the inverse of the Groucho Marx quote "I refuse to join any club that would have me as a member".

I've commented on a few posts on here and never been made to feel unwelcome and can't recollect a single transphobic comment towards me - but that is probably because I'm not screaming that I'm trans and demanding you all use my pronouns whilst calling everyone Cis.
