NHS Fife tries to silence nurse - Sandie Peggie vs NHS Fife Health Board and Dr Beth Upton - thread #3

Sandie Peggie, a nurse at Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy (VH), has brought claims in the employment tribunal against her employer; Fife Health Board (the Board) and another employee, Dr B Upton. Ms Peggie’s claims are of sexual harassment, harassment related to a protected belief, indirect discrimination and victimisation. Dr Upton claims to be a transwoman, that is observed as male at birth but asserting a female gender identity.

The Employment Tribunal hearing started on Monday 3 January 2025 and is expected to continue for 2 weeks.

Yes. But I don’t think you can tell from TT reports exactly what issue the undisclosed material relates to.

The thought of this Dr appealing to BMA, his supervisor, his GP, his psychologist, changing his sex marker with the GMC.....

Not one of these professional people and bodies ever saw fit to advice this young person of the risks of this course of action.

Sorry was not as clear in PP in the IX DU allegation re patient safety compromise came and went so his consulting BMA may reveal the truth of the serious allegation of SP m,al practice.

It's her Mum. Imagine having to put her in this position.

And they need some tripstop - common in operating theatres. Especially when I'm working as I'm famous for being clumsy and the anaesthetic nurses all know this.

Oh Sandie, to have not only been put through the events of humiliation, the suspension, the gagging, THEN to have to provide your husband, child and now Mum for the court to pick over.

It’s a microcosm of the whole situation. Normal woman and family. Steamrollered by privileged middle-class entitled people who demand that she accommodate a man's desires to her detriment, and then faced with the juggernaut of the gender ideology movement, made up of government, institutions, academics, pressure groups, etc etc backed by loads of money (and also using much of our own - NHS Fife and Dr U aren’t paying for their defence out of their own pockets).

So Peggie's witnesses were all family members. She wasn't able to get any from the staff at the hospital. That'll be because they all disagree with her and support Upton, obviously.

I seem to remember that NC spent rather a lot of time saying "well I would have posed this question to X, but they aren't here" in the ERCC Tribunal hearing

JR weaponising the fact that it was Christmas Day and Sandie Peggie was holding it together for the sake of her family/children. Really low. And she is a mother, too.

Apparently Mrs Peggie (senior) said that "She'd make him into a woman".
