NHS Fife tries to silence nurse - Sandie Peggie vs NHS Fife Health Board and Dr Beth Upton - thread #3

Sandie Peggie, a nurse at Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy (VH), has brought claims in the employment tribunal against her employer; Fife Health Board (the Board) and another employee, Dr B Upton. Ms Peggie’s claims are of sexual harassment, harassment related to a protected belief, indirect discrimination and victimisation. Dr Upton claims to be a transwoman, that is observed as male at birth but asserting a female gender identity.

The Employment Tribunal hearing started on Monday 3 January 2025 and is expected to continue for 2 weeks.

The whole argument about offending rates is fascinating but seems irrelevant to case. MF saying that TW who had surgery still follow male patterns of criminality. "Men as a group are a risk and men who identify as trans women continue...as part of that group"

TRAs and their supporters never understand why Dhejne's comments don't disprove the findings she herself made that MTFs have a male pattern of criminality rather than a female one.

It's such a silly argument. At what point do they think a man stops exhibiting male patterns of offending. At the point they declare their womanhood? Have a shave? Put on a dress? Paint their nails? Take hormones? Have their dicks removed?
