Pesutto really is an idiotic scummer, isn't he? After an excoriating, if rather polite judgement against him, he's still trying to pretend that he's in the right, here. How he can claim that he'll provide better leadership is an absolute joke.

On another note, I wonder if all the news outlets, which allowed him to spew his bile, unchallenged, could be liable? That's if Kellie and Moira have the energy, of course.

Indeed. There are a number of references to KJK not being a nazi / nazi sympathiser etc and towards the end of the lengthy judgement a very clear explanation that her policy of allowing anyone to speak and taking questions / interviews from anyone does not mean she supports their views - the Judge made that point seeral time including pointing out where she expressed her disagreement with views certain interviewers expressed.

I have to admit that Aunty's reporting on Kath Deves, the LWS rally and this case significantly diminished the trust, love and respect I had for the ABC.

And yet.... apparently we were all wrong when we combed through that dossier and pointed out the glaring falsehoods all those months ago.

I'm sure that the usual defects will frame it as a bad judgement and when questioned on that, will resort to: "The judge is a biased transphobe," or some such similar rubbish.

I am also amused by the fact that he's paying the bill for taking 4 days to say badger all.
