I suppose this is bringing your whole self to work.

Defending his lifestyle, the OnlyFans user posted last month: “I will not be made to feel any different just because I record my sex.”

@RainSodOff at least you and I can take comfort in the fact the majority of posters here feel like us and also from what it sounds, the majority of the HCP who found out about this are also horrified. When my child was in ICU (in a different hospital) when he was born 10 weeks early the staff were the people who kept me and my DH going. We had to stay there and watch our baby be tube fed and he was so tiny a teddy bear a friend bought us was bigger than him.

We trusted them all with our baby's life so it is a big deal when something like this is alleged as it chips away at that trust.

Wishing your baby a speedy recovery, our DC is a strong wee thing and I'm hoping will take another hospital visit in his stride like he did before.

Also thanks @ResisterRex for your kind thoughts x

ÉowynsSword · 23/03/2024 21:07

Also sending love to @TheClogLady and @RainSodOff it's so hard when DC are v unwell, especially as babies. I felt like I was floating out of my body at some points when DC was born early and in ICU; it was like I was disassociating so as not to think about what was happening at the time.

RainSodOff · 23/03/2024 21:22

You're so right @ÉowynsSword at least majority of posters are sympathetic and calming my high levels of stress. I do know I will be highly uncomfortable at our next admission!

ResisterRex · 23/03/2024 21:25

My very sincere apologies for missing TheClogLady Flowers

RainSodOff · 23/03/2024 21:36

And sorry @ResisterRex thank you, all the bloody gaslighting about how mean it is and hurtful for the onlyfans person to be kinkshamed scares me, but your posts and others here help me realise am not alone.

ResisterRex · 23/03/2024 22:22

For some reason, some threads bring out the apologists but no sane or balanced person thinks this is anything other than an abomination.

I hope those affected have a peaceful evening and rest of weekend.

@crumpet but how does dismissal benefit the public when it occurred in a private space. You could go down the public image route and have the junior doctor's GMC number but who benefits? I think an investigation into both of their conduct in practice is needed if nothing is found then that's the end of it. Would it be different if porn of the two of them had been filmed elsewhere?

The world is changing, peoples opinions are largely changing (even if yours aren't) the pure number on onlyfans, social media etc shows this.

Yea I wouldn't do it, but I'm also not offended by other people doing it

I’d prefer hospital staff to behave professionally on hospital premises.

This. And I'm sure the hospital think so too.

I think the apologists are often so invested in the ‘the world has changed’ narrative, and their perception is so skewed by the SM they consume and company they keep that they just don’t recognise that, actually, the UK remains pretty socially conservative. The vast majority of the population are absolutely not on board with any of this stuff.

NHS workers filming porn in children’s hospitals and selling it online is SO far beyond what most people in this country view as acceptable. And that’s a good thing.

mach2 · 24/03/2024 07:51

One should OnlyFans in one's own premises.

HoneyButterPopcorn · 24/03/2024 08:10

So for all the ‘oh the world is changing, get with the programme grandma’ people - what exactly do you think would constitute the ‘bring the organisation into disrepute’ bit that is usually in signed contracts?

Yes.

There may be some trying to argue for their belief that this is all fine and lovely and the way the world should be. Sane and balanced people are not going to be bullied into agreeing with them, because it's wrong.

That's it. That's all. It's plain wrong.

No amount of trying to imply objectors are dinosaurs who have failed to move with the times is convincing.

The fact is, seeing this as at all acceptable is a very extreme position. Trying to convince people it’s mainstream isn’t going to work.

The kidz now know that the concept of reputable is ill repute shaming so educate yourself do better lol.

I was trying to articulate something similar yesterday.

If there is 'disrepute' in the offing it would be interesting for those not concerned with safeguarding to describe it.

I'd like to see the explicit motivations and mindset in this scenario which might cause reputational damage but have no bearing on safeguarding.

I have a teen. I work around loss of teens. They know that shagging in a children’s hospital (of all places) is creepy to say the least.

The thrill of ‘doing the dirty’ especially around kids and posting videos is just yuk.

Datun · 24/03/2024 11:07

And making the place easily identifiable (as it was identified), with scrubs in view, knowing that the entirely illicit nature of doing it in the children's hospital is being wanked over by other people.

They should go to prison and the hospital should issue a detailed apology

HoneyButterPopcorn · 24/03/2024 11:32

All part of the thrill isn’t it? Cant see them doing it in an old folks home or rubbish recycling plant.

Like the wee fella who wore his rubber outfit to work and had a jolly old time with himself in the NSPCC work loos. All part of the thrill…

Helleofabore · 24/03/2024 11:47

Remember though, this person has said he will do requests. The ‘thrill’ is not just his, is it? It is the person who requests it ‘s thrill too! Will there be boundaries? Has he said ‘no’ to requests before?

It is almost like those who are saying ‘what is the problem’ don’t quite comprehend the nature of exhibitionism and other paraphilias that have a tendency of escalation. And this one is not restricted to one person’s thrills. It is in fact catering for others as well.

SammyScrounge · 24/03/2024 15:18

ArabellaScott · 23/03/2024 08:56

How do you know there's no way it's putting children at risk?

Exactly. They could have taken their little camera into the wards, into examination suites even the operating theatre. There was a time I would have thought such things were not possible but we have seen even police officers filming murdered women to share with their colleagues. They, and this charmless pair on sick children's territory , should observe professional boundaries. And should be punished if they do not.

The world is changing, peoples opinions are largely changing (even if yours aren't) the pure number on onlyfans, social media etc shows this.

If we are now at the point where making porn in a children's hospital is defended as progressive, we are in a very, very dangerous place.

We certainly are.
