Yeah, I finished the first one, but none since. And I only managed to skim the KJK Hitpiece Special if I'm honest.

(I have a post-grad with distinction, I can cope with academic writing that has a clear point to make and can present the evidence supporting it.)

I would suggest someone write an email and alert KJK to the issue. You emphatically stated she has been alerted on twitter, do you think that she will see the tweets. I found two under the tweet and two only.

You say 'smearing it' is incredibly unhelpful, but do you understand you have smeared her for posting a tweet and called her a liar? Do you see why we are pointing out the issues here.

I had the same experience as you , JCJ, in the seating area , near the stalls, doing a lot of moaning at Julie Bindel, who seemed to have be far too busy on her laptop to engage…

Just to point out that my overhearing incident was at the 2023 conference in October.

I have no doubt KJK takes up a lot of their headspace

Women outside their circle don’t care about some inter beef we just want coverage and action

And KJK gets the former to help with the latter

JCJ’s main subject in the rather one sided conversation seemed to be “ they are ruining my business” , who the “ they “ she was referring to , I don’t know…

I agree about taking up the Rise tweet directly with KJK. I don't know the ins and outs or who's right or wrong here but either way, KJK isn't on this board so can't answer.

For what it's worth, I'm not actually a huge fan of KJK on Twitter. I think she shoots from the hip too much be really effective and it wouldn't be a great surprise to me if she's got it wrong. Just my own personal view. For me it's the work she does with Let Women Speak that's absolutely phenomenal. And she's literally risked her life to do it. I've never met her but I can understand the loyalty towards her, and the protectiveness.

It completely escapes her how her efforts contribute to KJK being dumped by various businesses/platforms, when she goes all in on painting her as the worst person imaginable, based on conjecture & navel gazing waffle - often off the back of bad faith revision of her words/actions. If she can't take it (cos it's ruining her business),don't dish it out (contribute to ruining the business of another woman who has been banned across so many outlets/platforms/businesses etc. by other baseless smears).

The option to completely ignore KJK and her work/successes & stick to her own specialism has always been open to her. But she chooses not to, continually, and keeps insisting she must speak, then complains her obsession with KJK & her influence puts people off buying her hard to read 'zine.

I have to say, I've little sympathy for her business tanking if she can't just let it go, even when it makes her look ever more ridiculous with every word salad 100 tweet thread or special edition 'zine published.

I've sent a contact form + commented on the Tweets that were incorrect I cannot message her directly as she does not follow me.
