Started on 2nd October at Watford Employment Tribunal (Radius House, 51 Clarendon Rd, Watford WD17 1HP 01923 281750)

You may attend in person or remote viewing has been quite limited but you can request log in details from

Email [email protected]
Header should read
URGENT CURRENT CASE - Public Access Request - J Phoenix - The Open University - 3322700/2021

Ask for access link and pin and please give your name and address in the email as they check when you connect to the tribunal.

The clerk will ask you (in a private remote room) to put your camera on to verify, this involves looking at you, but no ID is needed. You may turn off your camera after this pointless and unnecessary process.

Folder is breaking up. Need a new one.
BC gets up and walks away, probably to find a nice wall to bash his head against.

Mmmnotsure · 17/10/2023 14:24

'What pg no again?'
Now BC is the one sighing

The poor sod is probably having flashbacks to Allison's tribunal.

The lever arch thingys have broken in bundle 11.

I blame the earlier witness who couldn't use paper.

Chrysanthemum5 · 17/10/2023 14:25

Is this the meeting where JW likened Jo to a racist uncle

Zebracat · 17/10/2023 14:26

I think it is. Nice friendly word.

Madcats · 17/10/2023 14:27

Does "Jo was stuck in traffic" count, for bingo card purposes?

ickky · 17/10/2023 14:27

CriticalCondition · 17/10/2023 14:25

I blame the earlier witness who couldn't use paper.

I blame him too, but not for that. 😁

@Zebracat Yes

OP posts:
Chrysanthemum5 · 17/10/2023 14:27

If I'd been likened to a racist uncle because I believed sex was real I'd be pretty upset too

Mmmnotsure · 17/10/2023 14:27

BC: you made notes after mtg. You emailed those to DD. Would suggest you wrote those notes in the am the next day, after you'd rec'd JPs email. Possibly because you realised you'd overstepped the mark.

LM: No, might have written them the evening of the mtg

BC: Your timed notes say written am the next morning

LM: Oh ok.

Reiterates that it was about 25 to 10 when JP got to mtg. Second time she's said that exact time. Miraculous memory recall instead.

Justin won't let TT in the remote room, even though they stated that they had lost audio, so left to re enter. He is proper arsey.

Surely it's not cricket, or very Open Justice-y for him to be so contrary about who he does and doesn't admit.

You would think so, I think all these women are getting on his tits!

LM: I wasn't angry
BC: unhappy hurt distressed
LM: yes

WrensAreAllDinosaurs · 17/10/2023 14:32

Ben has such remarkable restraint when questioning these people.

pronounsbundlebundle · 17/10/2023 14:32

LM: Jo asked me 'what should I do, what can I do in future' ....... I suggested it might be a good idea to talk to people
BC: She was upset at what you said, she started crying
...... missed a bit
BC: When she was crying you got up and walked away from the table
LM: i went back to my desk where the tissues is(?)

ickky · 17/10/2023 14:32

So JP wasn't crying, but LW gave her a tissue for no apparent reason?

It's a remote viewing tribunal, not the bloody opera.

Well, I mean it is a bit, but not as far as Justin should be concerned.

Mmmnotsure · 17/10/2023 14:33

LM v definite to say she wasn't angry. Reiterates that JP didn't give context in her WPUK talk and that is what is the problem

BC: JP was crying

LM: Wouldn't say that - she was sniffling into a tissue I gave her.

BC:no tissue

[not clear c tissue gate whether provided by LM or not]

Ameanstreakamilewide · 17/10/2023 14:33

I'm quite sure we are getting on his tits! 😂

But they're all modest and legitimate requests.

Helleofabore · 17/10/2023 14:34

Fuck. This witness is equivocately between crying and 'sniffling into a tissue'!

And this is supposed to have been a 'friendly meeting'! One that this witness wouldn't tell Jo what it was about.

CriticalCondition · 17/10/2023 14:34

ickky · 17/10/2023 14:29

He's being quite snippy in the chat with some observers. Unsurprisingly they are not called Dave, Steve or the like.

Mmmnotsure · 17/10/2023 14:34

Are we allowed to suggest that certain women come over as complete cows? Which is an insult to cows.

Edited

Yes for fear of upsetting her, but felt free to discuss it willy nilly with another member of the team!

And 'please call the counselling hot line' and 'get a career coach'! With 'friendly colleagues' like this who fucking needs actual friends.
