ickky · 16/10/2023 16:00

Started on 2nd October at Watford Employment Tribunal (Radius House, 51 Clarendon Rd, Watford WD17 1HP 01923 281750)

You may attend in person or remote viewing has been quite limited but you can request log in details from

Email [email protected]
Header should read
URGENT CURRENT CASE - Public Access Request - J Phoenix - The Open University - 3322700/2021

Ask for access link and pin and please give your name and address in the email as they check when you connect to the tribunal.

Lots about being respectful to trans and non binary people - but nothing about the Fuck Terfs signs or choke on my girl dick etc. is that respectful to women?

RocketPanda · 16/10/2023 16:17

Funny how they all stand with t and nb staff and students but nothing about the gay, lesbian or bisexual staff and students. Thought it was all No LGB without the T.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 16/10/2023 16:17

I wonder if HBC has the self awareness to realise that she contributes to this "hostile climate" by constantly coming out with one sided hyperbole which other people also find objectionable?

RocketPanda · 16/10/2023 16:19

No she'll see herself as righteous and pure.

CriticalCondition · 16/10/2023 16:20

JM mentioned Louise Westmarland as a witness tomorrow. We've already had her?

ickky · 16/10/2023 16:20

Sitting until 5pm tomorrow to get through the witnesses. Starting at 10am

Another astounding day!

BC is doing his best. Is it just me or are the witnesses protecting DD?

I don't think it's just you.

Thanks for the new thread.

Some of the witnesses are starting to remind me of Fat Tony, the mafia boss in The Simpsons. 'What's a murder?' 'What's a truck?' ... What is WhatsApp? I have never heard of Twitter, my posting history is a complete mystery to me. What is this 'letter' to which you refer? What is gender? Actually, no, you can't answer that last one, it is triggering and not supportive.

Scampuss · 16/10/2023 16:24

Thanks again for the insight everyone who's following live.

Yes all of the witnesses so far have shared nothing with Dr Drake. Its a wonder that she will be a witness as apparently she wasn't kept in the loop and she did nothing and knew nothing.

OP posts:
RocketPanda · 16/10/2023 16:25

She's never even heard of OU.

LesNot · 16/10/2023 16:25

The OU really should test its water - the mass amnesia is worrying. (sarcasm)

Notcookie · 16/10/2023 16:26

I cannot imagine how the panel could conclude that the open letter was purely to support trans and was not to deplatform the GC network. No one could possibly believe that could they?

Although you just never know with tribunals. Just look at the tribunal in Maya's case.

Notcookie · 16/10/2023 16:26

Why is it so important to protect DD?

IcakethereforeIam · 16/10/2023 16:27

It must be quite an ego massage being such an ally, the RSOH, and get to be a bully/bigot while still feeling virtuous.

There's really no downside. She'll leave the tribunal feeling victimised. Will doubtless get together with her circle, who'll agree she's done nothing wrong. After all, the legal system is transphobic and wants to genocide tp.

I don't know what to do about these people. Apologies, like that of John Boyne, are vanishingly rare. Even those mandated by legal action are invariably grudging, where they can be called apologies at all.

Vile, blind people.

Thank you for the new thread.

Thank you x

Froodwithatowel · 16/10/2023 16:32

Thanks for the new thread.

Two things really stand out from today. One: they believed that full on prejudice against GC was good and righteous - and they're finding it very difficult because they feel it is righteous but know they're on dodgy ground legally (and believe the law is wrong and they are right). This is Stonewall training: impartiality is 'hate'. You cannot live alongside the transgressors, you must be seen to spit upon them to prove your love for the Faith.

Two: there is no way for anyone to talk about any doubts or other positions but full on ideology, at all, in any language, that would not be transphobic and sinful.

They're toast. I really can't see any other way this can go.

yesihavenamechangedforthis · 16/10/2023 16:36

Do we know proposed witnesses for tomorrow? I requested online log in for today but didn't hear back

But ✨trans✨.

TrumpetOfTheMatriarchy · 16/10/2023 16:37

Just caught up with today. Goodness, the OU are not coming out of this looking at all good are they? Astounded at the lack of self-awareness and critical thought among the academic witnesses, what a shower of shit. Keep going Jo, you are doing a brave thing indeed for all of us.
