BC: your response is not to argue views but treat it as serious EDI matter and go to head of faculty

LD: it was criticising me so I went to my line manager

Bouts of coughing in the court. No wonder BC is unwell, it sounds like a germ factory there.

LD is upset at the statements about rape victims having to refer to their attackers as she and how distressing it is for them. But she's upset on behalf of the rapists! There is no hope for her.

Yes, we mustn't upset the rapists! FFS what is wrong with them.

LD was very upset about an email re women having to refer to their rapists as she in court. She was very concerned about the effect this email would have on her trans and nb colleagues. She thought it was an EDI issue and referred it to her EDI manager.

Cailleach1 · 13/10/2023 11:14

Chrysanthemum5 · 13/10/2023 11:10

So LD was upset that the fact that women are having to refer to their rapist as 'she' was mentioned. Fucking hell she's a total shit

Ah bless! All that concern for other people being upset by reality, and all those sensitive feelings don't extend to women or girls who have been raped.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 13/10/2023 11:15

All that concern for other people being upset by reality, and all those sensitive feelings don't extend to women or girls who have been raped.

So typical it's a cliche now.

Mmmnotsure · 13/10/2023 11:15

LD copies in senior manager and dean of EDI c how comments have affected LD. Says they are harmful statements.

LD: I felt some ways views manifested crossed the line. I was just asking for guidance

Ereshkigalangcleg · 13/10/2023 11:08

How do you talk about fairness in women's sports without referring to biological maleness? Confused

Well, that's the point. If you want to destroy women's sport, make talking about fairness impossible.

RealityFan · 13/10/2023 11:16

Ben Cooper, what a hero. Just how do you unwind and unhear what he hears all day?
The courts are where TRA comes to die. There is no safe hiding place for these Grade A idiots. Unfortunately these idiots are the ones holding the futures of the likes of Jo, and society, to ransom.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 13/10/2023 11:17

Well, that's the point. If you want to destroy women's sport, make talking about fairness impossible.

Indeed. This happened in hearings in the US.

LarkLane · 13/10/2023 11:17

She really is on planet ZOD. This is what all those screamers and haterz at LWS in Liverpool feed off.

CriticalCondition · 13/10/2023 11:18

BC trying to get to bottom of who was in this WA group. LD can't remember.

pronounsbundlebundle · 13/10/2023 11:18

If LD only thinks the rapists feelings matter, I'd recommend LD heading off to one of many countries around the world where only men have rights. Good luck persuading them to not see LD as female though.

Ameanstreakamilewide · 13/10/2023 11:19

She makes me want to scream.

CriticalCondition · 13/10/2023 11:19

We're on to the SMinds podcast now I think.

Ameanstreakamilewide · 13/10/2023 11:20

Her 'yes' was in a very small voice, just then.

CriticalCondition · 13/10/2023 11:21

BC Had you read the Reindorf report?
LD - no

LarkLane · 13/10/2023 11:21

Thanks so much everyone for keeping the rest of us updated. It must be doing your heads in listening to this.

@chilling19 a special look in on you Flowers

duffed · 13/10/2023 11:22

Yes, delurking just to say I really appreciate the updates!

Ereshkigalangcleg · 13/10/2023 11:22

She didn't say Stonewall gave legal advice, she said that the advice SW gave was illegal.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 13/10/2023 11:23

She needs to listen to the Nolan BBC podcast.

ickky · 13/10/2023 11:23

Mis information campaign about Stonewall. Really!

Ooh we’ve got ourselves a proper TRA here, haven’t we.
Welcome to the real world, love.

ickky · 13/10/2023 11:24

Ereshkigalangcleg · 13/10/2023 11:23

She needs to listen to the Nolan BBC podcast.

That would be auditory violence to them.

OP posts:
MyLadyDisdainlsYetLiving · 13/10/2023 11:24

BC: Remember Dr Downes, I'm asking what you did not what you think!

MyLadyDisdainlsYetLiving · 13/10/2023 11:25

BC: You seem very reluctant to own what you did.

Ooooh.
