Still waiting

RocketPanda · 12/10/2023 10:43

I'm doing OK, had a bit of a mini stroke so that's been fun. Not really. On the upside everything going well I can go and stay in my sisters house next week. She lives near the hospital in Dublin whereas I live on the edge of civilisation in the west so it's just safer for me.

IF was a bit of a disaster really. I wonder how many OU witnesses are feeling a bit squeaky arsed now they've seen BC in action.

LarkLane · 12/10/2023 10:43

Hope everyone's got their bingo cards ready.

Chrysanthemum5 · 12/10/2023 10:45

Something seemed to happen but then I was back in the waiting room

Chrysanthemum5 · 12/10/2023 10:45

Sorry to hear about the mini stroke @RocketPanda hope it wasn't too serious?

LipbalmOrKnickers · 12/10/2023 10:46

@RocketPanda so sorry to hear that. Flowers

RocketPanda · 12/10/2023 10:46

Ok so for bingo we've got Amnesia, Not Black and White, Sucking Female Cock.

Anything else?
May I suggest Unsafe and Vulnerable?

RocketPanda · 12/10/2023 10:48

It's ok. I always try to find an upside to things and I realised that now that I'm officially unable to return to the workforce I can be an absolute out and out Terf without any SM restrictions.

LarkLane · 12/10/2023 10:48

@RocketPanda that must have been scary for you, and you must tire easily. I've been though neuro too, a whopper, so thinking of you Flowers

nzborn · 12/10/2023 10:48

I don't recall,I don't think that was me,are you sure I thought that was someone else,I wasn't there that day

Chrysanthemum5 · 12/10/2023 10:50

For bingo I think we need to add:
I was busy
I don't use Twitter
We had to respond quickly

JoIsBraverThanIAm · 12/10/2023 10:50

For bingo: there was no single person who authored this; I wouldn't necessarily agree but that's their opinion; GCRN was not shut down

LarkLane · 12/10/2023 10:51

For the bingo card.
The Podcast
I didn't listen to it to the end./I didn't listen to it at all/ Someone else told me what was on it.

BinturongsSmellOfPopcorn · 12/10/2023 10:51

Oh - they're bingo card suggestions! I thought one of the witnesses had accidentally wandered into the thread.

Untrammelled terfery is certainly an upside, Rocket, although sorry about the cause.

Chrysanthemum5 · 12/10/2023 10:52

Is anyone in?

LipbalmOrKnickers · 12/10/2023 10:53

'A Twitter-storm'
'A lot of traffic on Twitter'
'no, I don't use Twitter'
'I barely use twitter'
'Twitter?'

ickky · 12/10/2023 10:54

RocketPanda · 12/10/2023 10:48

It's ok. I always try to find an upside to things and I realised that now that I'm officially unable to return to the workforce I can be an absolute out and out Terf without any SM restrictions.

That is a bright silver lining.

Must have been scary. I hate when our bodies don't behave as they should, I think it is the out of our control feeling.

I am glad you have that positive mindset, I really think it improves things. Flowers

@RocketPanda sending 💐🍰and ☕(that's tea by the way, coffee is the devil's work)

So sorry about the mini stroke, that sounds a bit shit. Hope you are recovering well and your sister is terfy and takes good care of you.

Good bingo suggestions.

RocketPanda · 12/10/2023 10:56

@LarkLane it really does take its toll, I'm sorry you had to go through it.

IcakethereforeIam · 12/10/2023 11:00

FlowersBrew@RocketPanda no offence @pronounsbundlebundle but I think a proper mug is warranted. Can't fault the cake though.

Thank you everyone watching, I appreciate your posts.

Has 'more light, less heat' or some variation been on the bingo card?

dolorsit · 12/10/2023 11:01

Just delurking to send best wishes to @RocketPanda

Also great thanks to @ickky and everyone else for the twitter links/twitter reposts.

RocketPanda · 12/10/2023 11:02

My sister is a very terfy and is responsible for showing me what was happening all those years ago now. She's a lesbian and was quite annoyed at the infiltration of men at lesbian events and honestly thought ( as did a lot of them) that when it was pointed out that lesbians are not sexually attracted to the male form it would all fizzle out. How wrong we were.

LarkLane · 12/10/2023 11:03

RocketPanda · 12/10/2023 10:56

@LarkLane it really does take its toll, I'm sorry you had to go through it.

@RocketPanda happy if you ever want to talk via pm. I found the hardest part was tiredness and it's a bit lonely when you come out the other side despite all the love and support. A big hug to you.

Mmmnotsure · 12/10/2023 11:03

@RocketPanda Sorry that you are going through this. Be kind to yourself. Great mindset, though!

For the card:
we were under a lot of pressure
I/we was/were told...

MyLadyDisdainlsYetLiving · 12/10/2023 11:05

Glad you’re on the mend @RocketPanda
