What do we make of Jo’s cervical trust a cancer charity who has an LGBT inclusive language page on their website suggesting another word for a vagina is a bonus
hole!!

As I predicted would happen there's now a whole sub set of guys hanging out in order to screw the women who want to screw gay guys.

"yeah baby you're a man, and I'm totally gay for you" would seem to be the new thing guys say to get naïve young women into bed with them.

I see my 80 year old mum finding modern life confusing and odd, and stuff like this makes me think I’m going to be like that by 60! Understanding less and less of what the fuck is going on.

I don’t understand why a gynaecological cancer charity is even getting involved with the trans movement. Trans women do not have a cervix.

How can a women's charity not see the rank steaming misogyny of referring to any part of a woman's body as a 'bonus'? A bonus for who?

Frankly I'd consider anyone using that term as showing signs of having been groomed and abused.

It's the first definition in their glossary.

Followed by 'Front Hole' under F.

Grim choice of language. Very disrespectful.

Slang in health or professional capacity is both misleading and offensive. May as well at least use the euphemisms your mum and grandma used to use.

It's a charity for cervical cancer - only women have a cervix ! Why would they be centring a male fetish about a bonus hole?

I used the forum a lot when I had cervical cancer. I won't ever be using it again 😔

I do not want any part of my genitalia referred to as a hole.

Surely the Front hole is the urethra. At least they should get it right and say Middle hole. You don't want to put a tampon in the Front hole...

I usually promote their work share their posts all over and big them up. hmmm… beyond grim, pretty unhealthy really.

I’m really done with this stuff. It’s a men’s rights movement and I’m done with being kind.

I was part of the be kind set probably up until the Isla Bryson outrage. Although I had a few doubts I couldn’t put my finger on I would still have classed myself in the ‘be kind’ camp.

I now see it for what it is - blatant misogyny with a be kind hashtag. If we don’t let males into our spaces we’re ‘bigots and transphobic.’ If promoting (natal) women’s rights is transphobic then surely promoting ‘trans rights’ is at the detriment of natal women’s legal sex-based rights and is therefore misogynistic.

So glad I found this board (though Mumsnet - who should be fighting for women’s rights - kind of put this board in the naughty corner and fails to stand up for natal women with its censorship of our valid concerns and views).
