That's a detailed analysis of so much that's been happening. And some of this has of course taken place on Mumsnet with some of those cited in the article using this board as a platform to attack KJK.

It's a long and rather depressing read - I admire some of these women while being saddened by how they behave at times.

The extent of the character assassination of KJK's is staggering, imagine what the women participating could accomplish if they used their knowledge, expertise and redirected energy to benefit the women they claim to be fighting for.

It was Claire Heuchan's writings years ago that helped me to understand what was happening. I really appreciated her but I disagree with her militancy and there seems to be a real dollop of lesbian hate (Bindel too) for feminine looking het SAHMs. As a lesbian I find it awful and not what Dworkin would do!

I don't see any evidence of KJK being near-murdered. That is ridiculous. But hey, it makes a good story.

Just finished reading it and found it greatly illuminating and quite shocking at how much effort has been put into trashing KJK over the years - I thought I knew all about it but I have learned about things I’d somehow missed.

Two excerpts from the article that I thought were very perceptive:

Yes, I deffo feel more charitable towards Julie Bindel due to her many decades long track record and immediate comment on the day of the NZ assault.

Nonetheless, I remain mildly annoyed at how JB can regularly write for the right wing press (inc the Daily Mail) and go on a speaking tour with Alt Right Milo yet never gets even a fraction of the criticism for ‘working with the right’ that SFW and WoLF have had chucked at them.

Personally, I think it’s much better that feminist journalists and writers publish wherever they will get an audience (and a pay packet!) rather than waste their energy on tumbleweed-y blogs and niche intellectually-wanky fanzines, I just find it frustrating that JB is allowed to do these things without being banished from ACTUAL REAL FEMINISM by the Purity PoPo and Other Women get dragged to the Facebook GroupGulags for less.

New Zealand has the highest level of domestic violence against women in the OECD and it's fascinating and appalling how the language of 'she made me do it' is being deployed not just in NZ but around the TRA world wrt KJK. They hate women so much, and she dared to be visible and audible.

I was about to formulate a new version of the pot, kettle, black idiom using the words hyperbole, murder and genocide but then Derek’s comment reminded me that victim blamers don’t deserve engagement so I stopped.
