In The Times

Seems like he's done a strategic U turn. I bet at least he's glad he can stop dodging the "what is a woman?" question.

I would love to be able to vote Labour. I hate the Tories. But not only does this show Starmer et al have little grasp of reality, it shows they have little grasp of number either, so I have less faith in their costing of policy, which they (rightly) claim to be important.
Funny how one issue can be so revealing.

48,000 (0.10%) identified as a trans woman

So what happened to the 'it's only about 5000 transwomen' which had, for many years been thrown into the argument. I suggest that when that 5000 suddenly and unexpectedly became 50,000 there is a problem for women. KS believes he can twist words so I will be going through their manifesto with a fine tooth comb.

I had the same thought @highame

In 20 years a ten fold increase and that is with a bit of gatekeeping. How many once Starmer and Yousaf get their way? One in a hundred women will have penises?

Floisme · 03/04/2023 08:38

Same. Also if he thinks he can fob me off by proposing a consultation on self ID - no doubt administered by LGTB+ Labour - then he can do one.

viques · 03/04/2023 09:07

If this woman with a penis thing becomes a trend, are we going to see celebs going to secret clinics to have them attached? And then of course denying it and saying they have just started wearing padded knickers . We will know we are doomed if the Kardashians all start taking coy selfies of their new groin area ( after all there is a precedent in that family).

If this happens I think we ought to take a leaf from the playbook .I propose setting up an agency where for a generous and non returnable fee women who are in desperate need of a penis (My Penis Envy Heartbreak Exclusive, as told to our reporter) can hire a surrogate penis for a period length of time to be used as a photoshop image when required. I will be discreetly approaching young healthy male celebs ( men over 35 need not apply, we want bangers not hangers) to see how they feel about this. My initial thought is to ask the ones who have paid women to rent out their wombs and provide babies, because surely, they of all people will see that using other peoples body parts to get what you want is a perfectly legitimate commercial exchange.

Does anyone have Toms contact details?

Hipkins in New Zealand is taking Keir down with him, the pair are an international laughing stock on Twitter and I have seen a youtube video on them, Hipkins even seems to think Keir is a bit of an old TERF/PERV for going on about women having a penis, you can see the wheels in his brain as he is ambushed like Nicole and Leo were, thinking Keir has been at the porn again!

Chesterton - we shall soon be in World in which a man may be howled down for saying that two and two make four, in which people will persecute the heracles of calling a tri-triangle a three sided figure, and hang a man for maddening a mob with the news that grass is green.

St Gregory the Great- A time is coming when men will go mad, and when they see someone who is not mad, they will attack him, saying, 'you are mad, you are not like us"

I think Dear Keir is arguing that

CAT A) Woman the gender - anyone can have a crack at it

CAT B) Woman the chromosomal sex - XX humans, that lot that don't have a penis

Keir's happy to allow XYs to obtain legally altered paperwork to enter CAT A, because that's nice isn't it?

The two categories then are lumped together in Keir's political philosophy as an exciting new 'gender class' (or he may sometimes pretend it's still a 'sex class' with 'all women' in it, depending on the interviewer and how badly it's going); and Mary Wollstonecraft, Harriet Taylor Mill, Emmeline Pankhurst and Barbara Castle can all go fuck themselves.

I think I've understood the Labour Party's position here.

The change is because we've known for years that only 5,000 people have gender recognition certificates. The new 48,000 figure comes from the 2021 census and includes everyone who "identifies" as the opposite sex, as well as people who have a GRC.

Of course, the actual numbers don't really matter. The point is that when you introduce a system of self-ID, every single person in the country can change legal sex if they want to. You only have to think about this for a moment to realise the problems this could cause. Sure, it's unlikely that everyone in the country will want to change sex. But once you've accepted the principle that anyone can change legal sex if they want, then there is nothing you can do to stop someone doing it for nefarious purposes. Hence, to take a fairly harmless example, the man in Canada who changed legal sex to reduce his motoring insurance premiums. Who is more likely to want to change legal sex - someone who has a deeply-held belief that they were born into the wrong sex, or someone who sees an opportunity for sexual predation? You don't know until you've implemented it, by which time it's too late.

AmandaHoldensLips · 03/04/2023 10:00

Isn't KJK standing against him in his constituency at the next elections? No wonder he's changing his tune. But I don't believe a word of it. He's a weak man who is afraid of upsetting TRAs.

I don't think he has changed his tune at all. He has just changed the way its communicated.

He still thinks 0.1% of women have a penis.

I agree, he is a weak man, terrified of making a decision.

Age doesn't help, as we saw in NZ, TRA will punch a 72 year old woman and they took down Billboard Chris too. The police won't stop them, Keir is the age we would call people OAPs when I was younger, he may be fit and think of himself as young, inside he has an old body that won't heal well from the type of assault he could endure from a mob of angry TRAs. So yes he is a mentally and physically weak cruel selfish liar, who will throw women and children ahead of him including disabled old women in a wheelchair like his mother, his wife and daughter and hide behind them so that he is the last to be beaten up.

Journo "what is a woman?"

Politician, stammering "I wasn't expecting that question. I haven't had time to formulate an answer."

I don't know whether to 😂 or 😭

Hipkins has made Joe, Leo, Keir, Nicola and Justin laughing stocks too, globally everyone is laughing at them on Twitter and YouTube.

And guess what the stats are from the ONS census?

48,000 (0.10%) identified as a trans woman

Boom! There's your other 0.1% for whom he thinks isn't biological.

He thinks he's so fucking clever and women are stupid. Piss off you lying arsehole

I’ve just started reading this thread, and every post I’ve read is worth quoting. All made sense, all clear and straightforward, all show up Starmer’s sneakiness and dishonesty.

If a bunch of busy women glancing at the news in a coffee break can demolish him singlehanded, how did he ever get to be director of public prosecutions? I cheered when he became leader of the Labour Party, I thought he would be brilliant. What happened to his brain?

Age. People get annoyed when you mention it. Just because we keep people alive longer people forget that we retired people at 60 and callsd them OAPs, because of decline in the body in many ways.

He said it was likely prompted by complaints from what he called the “anti-women brigade” who had turned out in force last week to protest planned events in Auckland and Wellington by anti-transgender activist Kellie-Jay Keen-Minshull aka Posie Parker.

I await Keir like Xi with his digital credit system, the USA domestic terrorist stuff and Truedeau with his bill C-11 to censor us here to stop women laughing at him in good time.

Broadcaster Sean Plunket suspended from Twitter

Human rights advocate reported a tweet of Plunket's he said encouraged people to read the Christchurch mosque gunman’s so-called manifesto.

Elon Musk owns Twitter and has taken it back from the woke who ran it.

Elon ex was with the wikileaks chap and his son is saying he is trans.

Elon wants to introduce neurolink, I don't trust him anymore than the dude in Helen Joyces book funding gender ideology.

And yet I’m that age and my brain still seems to be chugging along. Tony Benn was still as incisive as ever, along with too many others to name. Starmer is only 60 ffs, he was talking like this in his 50s when retirement isn’t even on the horizon for most people.

Ageing does slow you down, it’s true. But Starmer seems to have lost his ability to reason. He doesn’t seem to realise (as PPs pointed out) that other people can easily see through lies and prevarications. Or does he genuinely believe humans can change sex?

Ethan1312 · 03/04/2023 10:52

I may not be a woman but my mother was. She was a woman, an adult human female. She breastfed me for nearly 3 years. What I am most concerned about in that statment he has made is the 1% of women who have penis'. That says a lot about what he really thinks. Be careful ladies. This man is hoping to pull the wool.

Sigh people take it as a personal slight or attack.

The immune system, everything starts to decline with age, it's a fact as it is a fact that y chromosomes are in a male body.

LidlChocolate · 03/04/2023 11:00

Biden, Trump and Starmer are old men, that's my opinion, people take offence that's for them to deal with their own emotional stuff, 60 is old! They are too old to be running in an election to run a country, the lot of them, in my opinion.

LidlChocolate · 03/04/2023 11:06

Teachers and NHS staff didn't object over here. You had a tiny minority who resigned and joined GC groups, most pimped out students and patients to AGPs, yet these same professionals expect an abused mother to leave her home and income to safeguard children, double standards for sacred castes.

Rayner, Nandy etc would be better because they're younger?

Trudeau, Ardern?

Really?

The question was asked why had a legal mind like Starmers not work anymore as well as it once did, as you say he has declined to the level of 2 GCSEs Rayner brain functionality and Drama student Truedeau.

MarshaBradyo · 03/04/2023 11:15

I don’t think it’s Starmer’s age. It’s the left gender ideology - it renders a politician of any age incoherent because it’s lies.

It’s really hard to sound reasoned if the foundation of the discussion has no biological basis.

It’s why it’s taking down each of them. Hopefully more to come.

hamstersarse · 03/04/2023 11:19

It's not age, it's cowardliness and the need to be seen as being virtuous
