I can’t believe the misogyny and hostility towards women.

Nazis used to show up at animal rights protests years ago. They don't care about animals , just want to annoy Jewish and Muslim ppl.

But nobody thinks the RSPA are fascists. Except Mishy perhaps.

Same with the litter pick scenario.
The RSPA isn't comparable.
Unless they were also not just about the animals but protesting against the Jews/Muslim people at the same time?!

lifeturnsonadime · 22/03/2023 10:35

Where did these Neo - Nazi's come from?

Are people suggesting that KJK paid for all of their airfares, or could it be that a bunch a far right men live in Australia with their nasty far right views and decided to turn up to cause trouble?

How is it KJK's fault that Australia is home to men with far right views?

Helleofabore · 22/03/2023 10:35

CremeEggQueen · 22/03/2023 10:32

are you seriously saying that if you organised a litter picking event and Nazis turned up and your views on the minority who drop litter aligned with theirs then you would be 'uncomfortable'?

They turned up at a rally speaking about trans issues (yes, yes, women's issues before anyone fixates on my wording) and they share the same viewpoint as those speaking against trans people.
*That's what my post was talking about.
That's not even anything like "Nazis turned up to do a litter pick at my local park so that makes me uncomfortable as they hold views on minorities I don't!"
They'd just be there to help litter pick even though their views on minorities I would find vile
Their views wouldn't come into a litter pick (hopefully!)
Not remotely the same as turning up to a rally with the same views as someone on minorities where that minority is being spoken about/discussed etc
Except I think you know that?! I hope you do anyway!

There were anti-vaxxers and anti-covid protestors there too.

Do Antifa and the extreme trans activists also support them? Because they were there as they always are.

Do you understand you fail in logic here. You are posting from your own extreme prejudice.

Nothing you have written supports your claims either logically or in what has been documented on video by people who were not involved in any of the protesting at all.

Hepwo · 22/03/2023 10:28

It's as clear as day. The Nazis were there with ONE SIGN with their message.

Anti peado.

You are playing shocked here that people align with that message. Or you would rather ignore that message even though it was their only sign and claim something else?

So either you don't think anyone should be anti peado or you just want to malign standing for women because anti peados turned up.

You are the one making shit up.

Most people are anti-peado.
Most people aren’t nazis.

No. you just don't want to see the logic being played out.

Do you understand there were Jewish women there who actually were part of the speakers and who helped organise the Standing for Women event?

Do you understand how offensive these claims are that you are making?

CremeEggQueen · 22/03/2023 10:37

What feminist would be 'comfortable' with a fucking Neo-nazi being close to them?
A lot on here claim not to be feminists though.
It hasn't been just about feminism for a long time.

Have you got the evidence that Creme seems to not be able to find?

They weren’t bad nazis, only the nice ones turned up.

"Not remotely the same as turning up to a rally with the same views as someone on minorities where that minority is being spoken about/discussed etcExcept I think you know that?! I hope you do anyway!"

So if Nazis don't think trans women should be competing in women’s sports, that should make people uncomfortable to share the viewpoint?

How about it's just a very widely held viewpoint, and common sense, and the fact that it may be shared by Nazis means basically nothing?

No. Stick to the question. And don't try to distract.

Some of the women at that event are well respected feminists and are published feminists.

Answer the question.

What feminist would be 'comfortable' with a fucking Neo-nazi being close to them?

Simply repeating those lines is meaningless.

They are devoid of thinking and convey nothing to answer the questions you seem unable to answer.

Standing for women where there to let women speak. That's their mission.

You think the Nazis support that? They were there in support of letting women speak.

And you are against women speaking?

"Not remotely the same as turning up to a rally with the same views as someone on minorities where that minority is being spoken about/discussed"

What are these view?

Please detail the views that the Neo-nazis have and the views that the women expressed.

I mean, really detail them.

And by the way, this group is also called the National Socialist Network. By the kind of logic displayed on this thread, they must be 'Socialists'?

Is that correct?

Being published and respected in your field doesn’t mean you are infallible.

JanesLittleGirl · 22/03/2023 10:46

So a Tasmanian politician calls TERFs turds and it's all KJK's fault?

NotBadConsidering · 22/03/2023 10:46

Jujuj · 22/03/2023 10:36

Most people are anti-peado.
Most people aren’t nazis.

So most people agree with Nazis about paedophiles. Most Nazis agree with most people about paedophiles. What is “this” meant to prove?

Helleofabore · 22/03/2023 10:48

"You think the Nazis support that? They were there in support of letting women speak."

And of course they weren't. They were there to distract people from the women (and they have been successful) and to apparently make sure women were not getting their words out there to be louder than the Neo-nazi's message about paedophiles.

Anyone who actually spent a bit of time picking through the evidence can see it.

CremeEggQueen · 22/03/2023 10:49

An actual feminist would not be comfortable with a Neo Nazi next to them.
And I have never said that there were never any respected feminists there, I'm sure there were.
As I said it's not just about feminism though, is it?
And there's no point just demanding "no" at me as you dont like what I'm saying.
Why else do you think the neo nazis will have turned up brandishing paedo signs at the rally?
Who do you think they were talking about - I'll take a guess it's not going to be feminists / "GC" people, is it?
More likely trans people.
Like usually gets thrown at LGBT people.
They clearly felt emboldened to

That there ‘something’ in what was being said that aligns with their world view which has nothing to do with being ‘anti-peado’, which is an easy position to take. They wouldn’t bother turning up otherwise.

Helleofabore · 22/03/2023 10:50

Jujuj · 22/03/2023 10:46

Being published and respected in your field doesn’t mean you are infallible.

I think it qualifies you as being a feminist though. No?

How many books on feminism would that take in your view? Is there a minimum?

What kind of work (paid or unpaid) do they have to do to be recognised as a feminist?

Do you even know who we are talking about?

CremeEggQueen · 22/03/2023 10:50

As I said not just about feminism anymore whether you like me saying that or not.

CremeEggQueen · 22/03/2023 10:52

That was because I pressed too soon so had to make another post 🙄

It is about the language used to discuss these viewpoints and the company that attracts.

She has done lots of events. How many times have literal neo-Nazis attended?

And we know for sure what "attracted" them?
