Julie Bindel takes to right wing GBNews to smear the trans community with the same trope that was used against gay men in the 1980s - that they are all paedophiles. Has she forgotten that made gays a target for physical violence? Does she care if trans people are now targeted too.

Julie has given him 24 hours to appologise or she will take legal action.

Personally I hope she goes through with it, it will give a lot more publicity to what is actually happening.

Billy is the only one linking trans people to paeodophiles. I assumed Julie was talking about the + which literally includes ‘MAP’s.

Is silly Billy the last person on earth to know that paedophiles are trying to hitch a ride on another groups rights movement AGAIN? This would have been an ideal opportunity for him to have agreed with JB, guess that's what happens when you hate women.

Whenever I read these things, I’m reminded of the days (not that long ago) when MN suspended my account for stating that another PIE farce was coming as people were scared to speak out and state the facts. Hate speech apparently. Why is it that we can see what’s coming when others fail to? Is it because they are attempting to be so open minded that their brains have fallen out?

Where have MAPs been incorporated into the lgbtqi soup?
By any particular groups?
Is there a campaign for this?

Julie said she didn't want to be lumped in with MAPs, from this bragg made the massive leap/link that Julie was talking about transpeople.

In a later tweet bragg concedes that Julie didn't say what he claimed, but it was a transphobic dig whistle and he knew what Julie really meant.

I think that the use of the phrase "dog whistle" will cut no ice in a court of law. What "dog whistle" means, as used these days, is: "This person said something, but meant something completely different." Good luck convincing a judge of that one, Billy.

I don't understand men like Billy and LOJ, they claim not to be misogynistic or lesphobic but they literally don't think lesbians should have a space free from males.

It’s all a bit hidden still atm but there’s definitely a push to destigmatise paedophilia and introduce the narrative that it is a sexuality that you are born that way. But afaik they’ve been unsuccessful at being added to the alphabet soup yet (might be wrong). It’s probably only a matter of time.

It's the 'Q' that's the problem. In lumping everyone in under the sexually transgressive 'Queer' umbrella, the LGB community are now rubbing shoulders with fetishists and outright perverts. That many of these fetishists engage in pursuits such as 'age' and 'baby' play; dress up in nappies, and present their female personas as that of sexualised little girls should be ringing alarm bells everywhere. I shouldn't think Bragg is even aware of any of this. He just agrees with whatever Owen Jones says.

There is literally no end to Bragg's fuckwittery.

JB is measured, eloquent and sensible. I wish she wouldn't denounce other women but I'm Team Julie all the way here.

What happened first, Julie threatening to sue Billy for saying she called all trans people paedos or him threatening to sue her for calling him a misogynist?
I know who my money would be on. Julie knows her libel law and what’s going on. Billy has the sort of male arrogance where you think you have the right to chunter around self righteously without ever bothering to do your homework.
