GB News isn’t right-wing for god’s sake. Most of it is pretty run of the mill. The BBC has far more of a left-wing bias than GB News has a right-wing one.

Everything is described as right-wing nowadays. Don’t want open borders? You’re right-wing. Don’t believe every young men landing on our shores is a genuine refugee? You’re right-wing. Think maybe kids are generally better off being raised by their biological parents? You right-wing.

I'm pretty sure JB calls herself a political lesbian, and suggests other women would be better off f they'd be political lesbians too.

This 'right wing media' narrative is just fuckwittery. We all know it.

It is just lazy people who discount anything from one media source based on some of the other content. The number of threads I have been on in AIBU where somebody keen on fuckwittery writes 'it is the daily mail'.

One regular from this board was on a thread saying that on AIBU and never did return to answer whether they felt that Julie Bindel miraculously changed political allegiance or was now a click bait journo.

It is like people scoffing about 'Murdoch'. Well, Rupert Murdoch's older portfolio of media includes a newspaper directly targeting trade union readers.

Blanket statements about media allegiances where that source is not specifically aimed at one political allegiance is just lazy and those making the arguments lack critical thinking. And even the most biased source may still content something that makes you think deeper to evaluate it, or the very least go and search out the original source to sort fact over fiction.

Billy Bragg would never have had a career if he'd been a woman, because women aren't allowed to get away with not being able to sing.

Not surprised the tedious tosser doesn't believe in freedom of association for lesbians, or that women should be allowed to meet or communicate without male monitoring. Seeing as how he's full on 'Sex work is work!' and 'Up the (sex) workers!' I wonder how he'd feel if a bloke going into a lap-dancing club or brothel wasn't absolutely guaranteed that the women he'd ordered wasn't called Brian last Thursday and doesn't come with a massive beard and cock? I wonder if Bragg's most venomous invective is directed towards same-sex attracted women? Mind you, simply being a woman appears (to me) to be enough to render one a target to this retrogressive braggart. Especially women who don't go along with the 'Mr. Men's rights is to be given primacy' cohort.

It seems to be quite the coup of this new age charlatanism - pretending sexism ( and prejudice against lesbians) is 'progressive'.

All Ms Bindel said is that she did NOT want to be grouped with paedophiles ('minor attracted persons') under the same 'rainbow umbrella' that Stonewall thinks lesbians should join - at risk of being 'sexual racists' according to the head of Stonewall.
