'Stewart McDonald, Kirsten Oswald, Kaukab Stewart and Alison Thewliss were at the Glasgow protest to support the trans community and stand up for Scotland's democracy.'

That's them standing in front of a sign that says 'decapitate terfs'.

Again, I'm genuinely fucking shocked. This inflammatory, violent rhetoric is not acceptable.

And back to the OP, I do think signs calling for the beheading of women in the UK is something I never thought I'd see. It's disgusting. And violent. And tells us we have an incel culture and a very big problem with how our society treats and values women.

I agree that sort of sign isn't helping the cause. However there are hundreds of men and women who are peacefully showing support.

There are always going to be a few bad apples in any crowd of people big enough.

Enough men are at these counter protests and are violent towards women for a) it to put them off attending and b) to be intimidating enough for it to appear very much as if it's all men.

These types of signs can be seen at any TRA protest, and yet none of the ''good apples'' there ever think to tell the ''few bad apples'' to fuck off with their signs promoting violence against women. In fact, an LGBTQ+ publication noted that a #killJKRowling sign (made by an attempted murderer) at a ''trans rights'' protest was one of its favourites from the event.

Turn up with a sign that says, for example, ''lesbians don't do penis'' and it's a different story though...TRAs are quick enough to snatch those kinds of signs and assault the people holding them.
