I am pretty sure we can all agree that calls to decapitate anyone are unacceptable, regardless of historical accuracy or precedent.

I hope the MPs and MSPs who were at the protest are going to dissociate themselves from that sign and affirm that they don't support the decapitation of women.

I really don't know. Is it not down to the party leaders to deal with this? If they can't see that this is far beyond any semblance of being reasonable, if they don't condemn it unconditionally, the country is fucked.
