I remember watching the Trump fiasco play out over his final days and you could feel just from what was being reported and the footage that it was about to all go tits up and that loads of misogynistic men, and woman, that Trump was winding up was going to explode.. And then they did. And it was carnage.

I didn't see it. If I'd seen it I'd have told them it was naughty.

How about: it's appalling and does not reflect my beliefs in any way? How about: it's appalling and I dissociate myself from that attitude? How about even: I do not support violence against women, in any form?

I think it's far worse than not caring, they do care. But they think that they are in the right and are proud to stand next to horrible scumbags like them. They think it's a badge of their progressiveness.

I simply cannot believe that Alison Thewliss didn't see the poster. Did she never once glance behind? It's simply not credible.

She knew, but she said and did nothing, it's tacit support.

It's like Mhairi Black handwavjng away the abuse of female politicians in Westminster because it suits her ideology. It's shameful.

Have they any clue about the background of guy they were applauding? Who boasted about going mob handed to the bathrooms in the Scottish Parliament? To intimidate women.

I see from one of the newspaper articles that the police have received complaints.

As I am not in Scotland, so not sure how it (should) work there, but can anyone make a complaint.

And if so which police force is it.

But not only is it a threat to women, but at a time when women in politics spoken out about the level of threats and abuse they receive.

So how many women in politics dont speak out in public, because they are concerned for themselves and their families. They may try and lobby etc., behind closed doors but dont date to be public.

We are in such a dangerous time in politics.
