Nicola Sturgeon is now going to force members to vote in favour of gender recognition reform.

I feel like she does not understand that this is such a wedge issue that this might cripple the SNP for decades to come.

In her speech Emma Roddick said that she had been assaulted and that her attacker 'did not have to make a statutory declaration to legally change his gender to cause the harm that he did'.

This is not an argument for GRA reform. Arguing to remove certain safeguards, because those safeguards are only relevant in some situations, is dangerous and completely lacks critical thinking.

Beyond disingenous.

Protect female only spaces and create third spaces, while being clear that these are only for those biologically and 'living as' female for those who need their language twisted and jumped through hoops to be able to understand it.

Protect children and safeguard them properly.

A lot of the arguments are settled.

So why do they not do this?

Because they know it is utterly incompatible with the bullshit they are spouting about 'it makes no difference

Clearly Nicola Sturgeon thought nobody would dare defy her.

I am asking you a very straightforward question based on the proposed legislation. What, in practical terms for a male is ‘living in woman gender’? There is a two year prison term for a male making a false declaration of ‘living in woman gender’ so it’s in everyone’s interests that we all have a clear definition of what living in ‘woman gender’ actually means.
