I've just seen this on twitter.

Seeing as though mumsnet are their target market, this is very foolish of them.

FGS. Joules is one of the brand I had started buying after starting work again.

Pixiedust1234 · 22/10/2022 11:49

Page doesn't exist?

SarahShorty · 22/10/2022 11:49

Looks like the tweet was removed? I can't see it.

Here's the tweet. I don't know why it's saying that cos I can still see it.

Can't read the twat they have posted but surely their marketing department will have researched who is and who is not their core market.

Where can we shop now that isn't trying to politicise the experience?
And won't have men in the change rooms?

ofwarren · 22/10/2022 11:51

When I go to look at it from my twitter rather than the link it's been removed. Not sure why though.

Devil's advocate 'n all, but that could quite easily be the handiwork of a rogue member of staff rather than Joules' official position?

That's very true and more than likely what has happened.
I would ask Joules on twitter but the woman has deleted the tweet.
I suppose I could just ask them with the screenshot though.

I think it could also be a rogue member of staff. Would be good if somebody did ask them. Unfortunately I can’t as I banned for speaking the truth about biological reality.

ofwarren · 22/10/2022 12:06

It's been posted again by Local Standing for Women

Hopefully this link works

Britain’s best loved family lifestyle brand.

exwhyzed · 22/10/2022 12:21

That's so random it's absolutely likely to be a member of staff rather than an official position.

I'm not convinced Joules will still be with us this time next year though anyway. I think they are really struggling financially.

Humobean · 22/10/2022 12:22

That link now works OP.

Yes they are in trouble

I think the changing rooms tend to be multi sex as well, our local one at least albeit that on the right are two male cubicles and on the left two female

Not just Joules, sadly.
Ah well, having walked up the street, I've added a few more shops to boycott 🙄

EsmaCannonball · 22/10/2022 13:01

Just try to imagine some of the more well-known transactivists in Joules clothing and it's very funny. Unless they've introduced a knicker department, it's not exactly a beacon for the AGP and antifa set. If the guys protesting the next feminist meeting are wearing mint and lavender floral sprig balaclavas we'll know the marketing strategy has worked.

Feministwoman · 22/10/2022 13:03

Allegedly it was local TRAs going into the shops and asking them to display the flags near the venue.

Quite a few shops have them.

Pixiedust1234 · 22/10/2022 13:11

Says it all. Twitter has hidden the image due to it being sensitive. Wtaf?

Nigel is wearing a long-sleeve navy harbour blouse with 'no terfs alloud' embroidered detail.

They has a merino wool snood, worn in the traditional full face cover style with plenty of access space for acnescratches. Trousers by Ill-fitting.

They compliments the ensemble with a Cath Kidston megaphone, original black pampering pampers and an angry-card-board-SloganSign made of 100% recycled ideas.

Excellent idea, all the shops that are prepared to throw women under the bus should display THE FLAG, makes them easy to avoid.

Puppers · 22/10/2022 13:34

I stopped buying there anyway as it's all made in China.

The last couple of years we buy far, far fewer items of clothing but what we do buy is made in the UK and from local businesses if possible. Also not plastic fibres.

FunnyTalks · 22/10/2022 13:35

How many women attend Filia?

Women solvent enough to travel to Cardiff and stay in a hotel.

Urban Outfitters & All Saints are only in big city centres. There's an awful lot of women who won't be buying anything there during their Filia weekend trip.

It's a bit of thick decision, unless there's some scheme where you Dan cash virtue signalling in for ££.
