Anyone watching Friday Night Live? She’s just announced she is “gay”. Is this a deliberate move away from lesbians who are increasingly being targeted for being gc?

I had the same idea about Ben Elton but not sure where I got it from. What did he say on FNL?

Well for a start he opened the show by saying "Hello, my name is Ben Elton, and my pronouns are he/him"

Pretty sure Ben Elton was/is GC - it was a book I read (that he wrote) back in 2019…Googling….ah yes…identity crisis.

Everyone thought Ben Elton was GC because of his book, Identity Crisis, which contained a lot of satirical comments about gender identity.

To be fair, I'm not sure he's got any say in booking acts for FNL, and I assume nobody knew that they would pull the naked stunt (although no excuses for the misogynist song he sang, which must have been pre-vetted).

I quite liked it and laughed at some of the stuff. I was shocked when the quoted how long ago since show was last aired. I canny be that old. I like RJ, the lady in the pink suit hell no way was I expecting stripping and everything to be on show.

It's perfectly normal and commonplace for a lesbian to refer to herself, or be referred to, as a gay woman. It's honestly baffling that you've never heard it before.

From browsing Jordan's twitter the indecent exposure seemed planned.
I thought Jordan did a great job of showing how narcisstic and vile men who say they are women are. But hey ho it is just comedy so us transphobic, right wing, Christian bigots can just go fuck ourselves. It reminds me of people going along with my abusive ex in his jokes against me. Several years later those same people had clocked him and were not laughing along anymore.
