Penny Mordaunt still the bookies favourite (and they aren't often wrong) but we need to let everyone know how dangerous it will be for this woman to become PM; I don't believe she has changed her mind for one moment.

If you can't, then I don't really understand why you and others keep asking this question.

The process by which candidates in elections deal with endorsements, which they generally enjoy receiving and publicise does not vary much from party to party or election to election, or indeed from country to country in my experience. As I explained previously either 1) the candidate is happy for the endorsement, and amplifies it, perhaps by retweeting it, 2) does not like the endorsement, in which case they say so or 3) is indifferent to it, and ignore it.

Kemi does not appear to full into category 1 or 2 as far as endorsements from Lawrence Fox and Reclaim are concerned, so I think it is safe to assume, unless anyone would like to provide evidence to the contrary that she is indifferent to it.

By way of contrast she has retweeted Seb Coe's endorsement of her.

I came to this thread to work out why everyone blithely calls KM "really right wing."

I am still none the wiser as to the actual evidence of voting or stated opinions beyond TWAM and why critical race theory ideas don't help racism. Which isn't a right wing stance (see Karen Stenner.) I would appreciate a clear English explanation of how she is if I've missed it.

I mean that Kemi seems to have been endorsed by very many people, many of those endorsements she has retweeted. The endorsements from Lawrence Fox and Reclaim, she has not retweeted. I do not know why that is the case, there may well be other endorsements she has not retweeted as well. I have no opinion on why that might be the case.

@jgw1 could you please examples of political candidates denouncing endorsements by people, as you clearly think that's what she should do, rather than ignore randoms and re-tweet endorsements they're proud of?

What's wrong with Laurence Fox?

He's been doing lots of good work lately for the safety of women and girls and his recent 'Groomed' video with Posie Parker was excellent.

It really pisses the left off that it is the conservative party that has created a colour blind meritocracy. I don't much like their policies but they are prepared to advocate for them rather than shout people down or cancel them for having the wrong opinion. Rather than being openly racist there is an concerted effort to other them and hence put them in a category which can be dismissed out of hand rather than debated. I would categorise myself as left of centre and I can tell you this approach seriously pisses me off. Grow up and fucking engage.

I have no idea, but speculate that Kemi and her supporters on here must think something is, as they have not responded in the same way to his endorsement as they have to many others.

Perhaps she would've said similar if Reclaim endorsement was proved to be real, not a hoax, but that's a bit academic

Could you share a link to this excellent video. My searches have only turned up some kind of parody sketch about all manner of things that do not take place in any school I am aware of.

The same person who more recently refused to condemn an endorsement by Tommy Robinson. But they are a has-been so lets not worry about them.

Are you saying that official Reclaim party twitter account is a hoax and not linked to the Reclaim party?

I do find it interesting but only because it illustrates the 'wrong sort of black person' approach. As for using the culture war to avoid discussing their policies that is just another tactic to avoid actually discussing the culture war, something the left is keen to do. The effort we have spent trying to get any party to engage is here for all to see. I am happy one of them is finally waking up. I hope the others follow.
