Apparently Fina's ruling is "not on". Speaking at the British LGBT Awards Daley said: "I was furious. You know, like most queer people, anyone that's told that they can't do something they love just because of who they are, it's not on. It's something I feel really strongly about. Giving trans people the chance to share their side."

No one is stopping trans people competing Tom. Just stopping them from competing unfairly in the wrong sex category. Trans women are free to compete in the male category and will also be in future if sport decides to have an open category.

Should we be surprised at his attitude? Not really, after all he thinks it's OK to rent a woman's body to produce a baby for him and his partner. He seemed to know what sex was then.

“ScrollingLeaves
What is known about Tom Daly’s feelings in general towards women? Obviously he is not attracted to them, and now he has come out against protecting women’s swimming, but is there another reason you say that, Clymene?”

I know you didn't ask me but since I agree... I think it says something that he knows how women differ from men when he wants to rent a womb, but claims there's no significant distinction when he wants to sabotage women's fair opportunities in sport. We exist when it suits him and not when it doesn't.

He thinks women are incubators and should have less rights as surrogates.

So he wants to actively remove rights from women and is campaigning for it, in order to extend his rights to babies for sale.

Thank you both for your answers.

We exist when it suits him and not when it doesn't.

This is a fairly common principle among woke men. Women, as a sex, can exist in surrogacy and in prostitution, and there women can be called women. Something to do with seeing people as instrumental.

This is a fairly common principle among woke men.

It's the perfect form of social conscience/activism for men who don't want to have to think hard thoughts about patriarchy and want to be able to attack women for not falling in line, while claiming moral superiority.
