Incidentally the last few times I've logged in I've not even has an option to turn off my camera - so I assume they've fixed that as well as the automatic mute on entry.

Gabcsika · 24/05/2022 09:50

OK, so the question is then as to whether withholding AB's explanation from CMcG tainted the outcome of the investigation.

RocketPanda · 24/05/2022 09:52

If only misogyny was seen as a bad thing. Nowadays it seems to be applauded especially when applied to women who won't shut up.

Signalbox · 24/05/2022 09:52

Keeps comparing AB to Tommy Robinson and Anti semitism.

CuntAmongstThePigeons · 24/05/2022 09:53

Needed publicly available material that the cotton ceiling workshop was coercive.

ITS IN THE FUCKING NAME OF THE WORKSHOP.

Keeps comparing AB to Tommy Robinson and Anti semitism.

I meant keeps comparing the level of controversy with TR and anti-semitism.

oviraptor21 · 24/05/2022 09:54

Confirming she didn't receive AB's explanation.

StrongOutspokenOftenIrritating · 24/05/2022 09:56

I’m just getting black screen. Are we actually in? I’ll retry if you are

oviraptor21 · 24/05/2022 09:56

I didn't realise BC is standing at his desk.

oviraptor21 · 24/05/2022 09:56

Yes. We're in.

LipbalmOrKnickers · 24/05/2022 09:56

BC has a standing desk! Is this new information, for some reason I always thought he was on a spinny chair?

Tallisker · 24/05/2022 09:56

I was wondering last night if all this "I can't remember" "I don't recall" "I didn't see that" "not sure" etc etc means that the all the detriments will end up not proven as there is no admission that what happened actually happened, so they'll get off scot free. I live in fear it's a carefully constructed (and agreed between themselves) approach.

I have always thought spinny chair too

The fact that ALL of GCC are saying the exact same things, makes it implausible to me. You would expect different people to say slightly different things about the same subject. It looks like they are all reading from the same script.

Judges will come to their own conclusion as to whether witnesses are disingenuous or not.

BIWI · 24/05/2022 10:01

Thanks for the new thread @ickky and, as ever, the discussion and wit on the threads.

Gabcsika · 24/05/2022 10:02

I thought it was obvious he had a standing desk from the way he leans into the camera sometimes and gives that "look".

I'm sure it all adds to the performance too. I find it much easier to "think on my feet" literally when I am on my feet.

LipbalmOrKnickers · 24/05/2022 10:02

Wouldn't it be up to the tribunal to decide whether that's likely or not Tallisker?

I find it completely unbelievable that events that were considered to be so potentially damaging were not investigated further by anyone, were not discussed by anyone outside an email chain, and were so utterly unmemorable that no-one can remember a thing about them two and a half years later.

Bundlephobia · 24/05/2022 10:02

Yes I thought he was at a standing desk. I figured it would feel more natural as in court they always stand when it's their turn. I thought it would feel odd for the others to remain seated while they make their submissions

StrongOutspokenOftenIrritating · 24/05/2022 10:02

bah. I’m struggling with the tech, probably doesn’t help that I’m nursing at the same time. I’ll have another go if they sleep at all today

Gabcsika · 24/05/2022 10:03

AH interruption! 30 minutes in!

Gabcsika · 24/05/2022 10:03

Objection sustained by judge.

ickky · 24/05/2022 10:03

AH first interruption, he is being good today. 😁

BC referencing the Holbrook case. CmcG wasn't aware of that when advising re AB.

katmarie · 24/05/2022 10:04

The inability to see the witness statement is somewhat annoying here, she says she updated her view, but what to?
